In the native American Indian tradition, people come to know their animal in a dream; and, sometimes that animal might change over the course of someones life
The Chinese are extremely sensitive to the selection of words & questions in an effort to always allow people to "save face"
'reality' is an interpretation. if we did not allow bias into our own personal reality we would never get passed our first day of proper conscious thought. so enmeshed in the consequences of our 'reality' (esp in the 'west' where almost all we do has negative consequences for 'non westerners') would we become. if in doubt think of the way the 'west' practices trade. CAUTION: if you are not aware of these injustices already it may seriously harm your 'reality'. thanks
Dear Mettabee, I think that I was one of the luckiest people in the world to grow up in Canada. The education, the health system, the level of civilization is unprecedented in any other country in the world.
I'd prefer being called a buffalo as opposed to say a jackass. Sometimes it's easier to commune with these creatures then trying to understand what the humans mean when they speak. Cross-Culturally is even more trying at times. You said you had to apologize, did you want to or did you feel obligated to?
How did your other friends react? Did they think you were being insensitive? What animal
did your freinds call you? Did you agree with their choice?
i wasent aware you grew up in canada :) thats pretty cool. i live in canada. greece must be a beautiful and different enviroment :D

I think the animal that best represents me is some animal that constantly eats....

Could she be thought of as being associated with bull, because of the way she does think of herself as being like a buffalo?
