What we’re seeing is a catastrophe on multiple levels of US government.
Republicans will surely be emboldened by the way Obama keeps folding in the face of their threats. Obama surrendered last December, extending all the Bush tax cuts; Obama surrendered in the spring when they threatened to shut down the government; and Obama has now surrendered on a grand scale to raw extortion over the debt ceiling.
Audit the federal reserve cronies that have bin ruening our country when they feel like it. Implement a higher sales tax & eliminate the income tax that way if you have it you spend it and no more getting audits & having to file income taxes we would be free of the federal reserve slugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After all these years the USA trying to fight communists so hard for no reason, now the people are owned by Communist Red China and when they stop lending the USA money, the country will dry out. Another lost war for the US.
As a Canadian, I still remember how American's used to laugh at our worthless "Monopoly Money". All I can say to that now is that, if I was a US citizen, I'd be dumping my greenbacks as fast as possible.
It's amazing how the US has the IRS to force people to pay taxes (50%) on everything: Income, pension, gift, winnings & toll taxes. And they say they are broke. What did they spend the money on?

The assignats were issued after the confiscation of church properties in 1790 because the government was bankrupt. The government thought that the financial problems could be solved by printing certificates representing the value of church properties. These church lands became known as biens nationaux. Assignats were used to successfully retire a significant portion of the national debt .

At 0:25 and again at 3:35 Congressman Ron Paul says, and I quote, everything we PRETEND that we owe. PRETEND, to me this statement suggest that the bankruptcy of the USA is being staged. Are we being sold out to the New World Order? What does Ron know about this pretend we owe?
The Chinese government was stupid to lend all those trillions to US because its not going to get paid back to China. The only choice China has now is to collect on properties and other assets.
