yes. The game is separated into districts though. If you want to team up with people from other countries you or the other player will have to enter thier district, or the international district. However the transition is fairly easy, and ventrillo accounts with some guilds can streamline this. My guild has members from Canada, the U.S., England and Egypt.

This is Prophecies the first campaign. This player is playing in what is known as Pre-Searing, the seperate, tutorial world in the first campaign. Other campaigns include Factions (an Asia/Eastern themed campaign) and Nightfall (an African/ancient Egyptian themed area) and there is also the advanced expansion pack Eye of the North which requires a player to own one of the previously mentioned campaigns.

Guild Wars is a great game! iv been playing for 2 years now and i find it to be much better then WoW (sorry to all the WoW fans), yes i have played WoW and i find it really repetitive. unlike guild wars you do missions and you can own guilds (an army). you can have ur own capes also! so yea id get it. its free online play and its hard to hit lvl 20 (max lvl) at 1st but its easier the longer you have been playing.

by the starter, you can create 4. but with expansion more. it# s like wow but without fees.

You use WASD, yes.

You can also use the arrow keys or mouse movement, and you can reassign the key commands for your own personal comfort. It's not too hard to get used to WASD, though. I just got the game 2 days ago and already I'm perfectly comfortable with it (after years of 1st & 3rd person shooters where I'd set things up in a standard pattern around the arrow keys).

Excellent gameplay vid, pointlessworld - not to mention commentary. Most people posting gameplay vids just slap music over the footage and have done with it.

My computer is, sadly, marginal (Sempron 2800+, GeForce 6200TC @ 256MB and 1GB RAM over Win2k), but I think you've managed to convince me to risk the $30 Prophecies'll cost - even though I'll probably have to run at 800x600 with all the detail options down to low. :P

Eye of the North, I believe. Without the expansion pack. Very first one that came out. So it's not Factions or Nightfall, since they are campaigns rather than EotN, which is an expansion.
