I was at game three. The intro was good in its own right, the use of the sheets was different and pretty cool. BUT, compared to last year's intro its not even close. Last year with the Pyro technics and the flags.....I always thought the flags were tradition......was WAY better. The song was a better choice last year. but I miss the pyro technics more than anything. So cool when the Wings score they would go off and YOU COULD FEEL THE HEAT! Good intro this year.....but not great.

@zachhockey I don't know what song they used this year. I had never heard it before. Last year's song was way better. I agree with you, last year's intro was awesome. Bring back the fire and the flags and this year is pretty sweet. Not saying this year is lame(its not, I like it) but last year was WAY better.

Sad to say this, but that intro was dumb as hell. I went to see the Wings in the 2008 playoffs, and that intro holds no comparison to this year's dinky intro.

Must of been a shitty economy for Mr. Illitch, too...
