My child was misdiagnosed with failure to thrive and we were threatened by social worker to have her taken away. Fortunately another doctor and specialist sent documents to DHS stating she did not have failure to thrive. I used to feel the same way this lady did, if they took your kids it was because you did something wrong. My first grandchild's mother went into the system to get help(she thought this was a system to help her) now it's been 10months she turned 18 and they let her out now she is fighting to get her kids back, what a cruel system, the sad part is there is no tv crews,no search parties, no help to get your kids back, this system is so cruel all its about is power and money.

Find a lawyer who hates CPS and is tough as nails - get him or her to write them a letter telling them to get lost in legal terms and tell them about the lies, harrassment by neighbour, and how you have affidavits etc. You must have a good lawyer to fight these creeps - get a mortgage or do whatever you have to, but get a really, really good, tough lawyer that will intimidate the two-bit judge just by his/her presence because he/she has such a powerful reputation.

They get funding thru Title IV-E which bacially gives them more money for more children, then it's more money per day for all those unabused children. Did CPS mean well but their policies and the laws are not strict enough to prove parental wrong doing? There is some critical missing information. Who called and said the mother was "acting funny" and like she was on drugs? Why was CPS notified in the first place? Did the mother have a previous history of being on drugs? Did the mother have a previous criminal history? CPS might have been wrong in taking the child but their had to be some sort of reason to target her. That information would be interesting to have.

CPS can be bad at times, but I know that they have also saved many. I am a foster parent and heard about the horrific things that can be done to children at the hands of birthparents. I know personally, children that have been saved from being neglected and abused. This case and others like it should not happen, but they are not the norm.

My graddaughter has been stolen as well. Also, on false alligations. It was testified in court that the CPS worker did not see/find what she stated she saw/found in the papers. We still did not get the baby. I have since learned that they have to keep the baby in Foster Care for 3 months in order to receive payment and they get a monitary kick back. It was stated to me by CPS that they needed, wanted and were going to get the white baby. They did!

Amendment Rights don't mean anything when it comes to these CPS Workers. They don't care. They can come right in whatever they please. They would demand to do so. When asked for a Search Warrant, they claim they don't need one. Something got to be done to hold them accountable for their actions against Society. It is happening slowly nationwide. More than 530,000 Children are in Foster Care System now in the USA. What does that tell you?

Plymouth DSS took our five year old son and our two year old daughter on Feb.16,2007 for supposed sexual abuse and neglect. They seperated them and have threatened to take my unborn baby when she is born. On that previous Wednesday at a meeting in front of many witnesses we were told that DSS would not seek a C and P order, but they lie. We are grateful to be able to hire Attorney Kevin Patrick Seaver. I pray every day for the safety and peace of my children.
