Some people actaully don't mind hearing their favorite anime's in english. it was because of dubs, NOT subs that got me into anime around 1999 when I saw DBZ on toonami and other greeat animes like Tenchi, YuYu Hakusho, etc. Sometimes looking at subs are annoying as heck! Constantly looking down when we could focus more on the animation. And dubs are not bad they just sound different. Im sure some people in Japan feel the same way.

@SoloAbsoluteZero Mmh... Japanese Voice Actors are better... I think part of it is probably because the animation is made to fit the voice acting of the Japanese and any other language has to mess around with words to try and say the same thing that they said in Japanese but fit the mouth movements and stuff. Sometimes they actually make them say something entirely different in other languages...

@SoloAbsoluteZero It is an opinion. But you can't argue the fact that most anime is made to fit the Japanese language and other languages have to adapt. This means that if you watch subs your getting exactly what was supposed to be said. (As long as the translators translate it correctly.) :P

@SoloAbsoluteZero But in the real version he wasn't just getting pissed, he was shouting at them. Then for a second you could feel a sense darkness as he starts hinting that he will kill all of them. I missed all of that in this version.

This is why the other ninja clans hated them, why the Senju were the respected ones, why the Hashirama won First Hokage seat. Naruto was only treated like shit because of fear. Lee was treated like shit because he was embrassing the ninja way.

If you read the history and you undestand it all you can really feel the depth of this scene. Itachi is trying to justify his actions by fooling himself into hating his clan, as you can see. But in the end he was the good guy. What the elders did was wrong. Sasuke should kill the Elders, not destroy Konoha entirely.

@SoloAbsoluteZero Mmh... Japanese Voice Actors are better... I think part of it is probably because the animation is made to fit the voice acting of the Japanese and any other language has to mess around with words to try and say the same thing that they said in Japanese but fit the mouth movements and stuff. Sometimes they actually make them say something entirely different in other languages...

If you read the history and you undestand it all you can really feel the depth of this scene. Itachi is trying to justify his actions by fooling himself into hating his clan, as you can see. But in the end he was the good guy. What the elders did was wrong. Sasuke should kill the Elders, not destroy Konoha entirely.

@nnnmmmable i totally support Izzy, you're point that itachi didnt killed sasuke because he was only a child makes no sense, so you're asuming that sasuke was the ONLY child in the clan.... otherwise there would be more survivors

@glennboy92 Sasuke is the only kid of the Uchiha clan just like Naruto is the only kid of the uzumaki clan.

@nnnmmmable Oh yeah, type foolish little brother in english in the youtube search and that part will show you why Itachi let Sasuke live and why he calls Sasuke foolish little brother. Don't be a robot like Izzy, agreeing with Izzy means you believe that Sasuke actually killed Itachi, Naruto and Sasuke is going to die in the end of Naruto, Tobi is Madara's clone, and alot more.
