  • the soldiers are the ones who fight and die to give you pussy assholes the right to say shit

  • @bottomsbaby what the fuck would you know, do you ever did anything for this country ??

  • fuck the military!!! everybody knows they target poor people to do dirt...its funny how people think they are fighting for freedom....when they really fight for the gobal elite and the bankers agenda and mexicans are the perfect target because they are out to "prove" they're americans.....DUH!

  • hire poor to kill other poor people. Military is overrated, play chess.!

  • I didn't need the USAF to pay for my education. I didn't have to leave NY because there was nothing better for me. I was accepted into the collages I wanted. I joined to carry on a proud military heritage that runs through four generations of my family.

  • so!!!!

  • I agree with Achped. Your assumption that every one is poor and uneducated is misguided. I came from a very nice upper-class family. I grew up in the Hudson River Valley outside of NYC. My parents and older sisters all hold B.A.s and I am currently pursuing a degree in journalism while serving my country.

  • Yes I see how this targets poor inner city impoverished peoples, just like the Police, and everyone else.....blah blah blah, patriotism was just a fad wasn`t it? everyone said...I`m gonna go buy a flag cause everyone else is....it became popular to buy a flag and display it...6 years later....

  • Patriots are people who will stand up for what they believe in, people who will fight for their country, people who will keep their fellow countrymen safe, when noone else will. Dont ever disrespect Patriots.

  • Amen brother

  • You know two years after 9/11 you couldn`t find an american flag in any store....now....you can`t find anyone who wants one... I love this country and the people in it bless their poor misguided souls, but I will be damned if I`m gonna just take a seat in the back row and let someone else do my standing/fighting/keeping fellow countrymen safe/posting on youtube for me....time to take action....

  • Holy get your facts straight Robbin. Most military men and women are from middle class, rural, Christian households. Look it up. How that translates to poor, inner city youth is beyond me. (But you're the liberal, facts mean nothing to you anyways)

  • It is true that most military personnel are from the inner city. What other options do they have that rich, spoiled kids don´t, and that last line proves his point because it seems that you already made up your mind and assumed that it´s liberal..where do you "look" that up anyway?

  • heritage dot org/Research/NationalSecurity/upload/cda05-08_t1.gif

"Region: Urban areas have 39.1% of the population but only 28.9% of recruits were from urban areas in 2003."

"The mean family income for recruits was $41,000 a year."

Yep, that sure sounds like "poor inner city" folk to me.

    heritage dot org/Research/NationalSecurity/cda05-08.cfm

You would "look" that up by doing research and not listening to your college professor.

    Semper Fi.

  • It sounds like low income people to me, Achped. 41 Gs between two working parents is the threshold of poverty. Notice that every ad for military service offers career placement opportunity. It used to be that one joined the US army to fight against an army threatening America, not to get a paycheck. Career military is for wankers.

  • Again, facts mean nothing to you liberals. Its only how you "feel" about things.

  • exactly, like how they "felt" about losing the war in Vietnam, and how they "felt" about the bay of pigs. Besides that website doesn't seem to be affiliated with the military in any way, it only supports it, it also doesn't seem to be a website that would state other facts as well.

  • Also, keep in mind that income from employment doesn't necessarily mean making ends meet. They could be making that amount, but what if it they have 6 kids? It´s much more complicated than a black and white statistic. Also, are you sure you know what college professors are?

  • You know what, you're right. I'm sorry. I guess my friends, myself, and others I've met in the military are poor. I mean, gee, I thought we have it pretty nice. Christian upbringing, married parents, wealthy enough to buy us all cars, got pretty much whatever we wanted, but what do I know? You're the liberal. Again, you're always right.

  • Also, have you ever met anyone in the military? Like, currently. Because I have, I am one, and to call me, or any other Marine I've ever met a poor, inner city minority is the most irrational, flawed statement I've ever heard.

  • For the record, I've been in since July, and I have yet to meet one single "poor inner city folk". The closest thing I've met was a hispanic kid from Puerto Rico who grew up in Atlanta...but his parents are wealthy enough to go on cruises every year. The people I know, and the facts I've showed you just can't be accurate though. They don't support your ideology.

  • holy propaganda batman - do you see how they target inner city/poverty for their recruitment?
