This type of DXing was common in the analog days. To this day, it's possible to pick up London, Ontario and Toronto stations here in Erie. That is, until next year when Canada mandates their DTV transition.

You actually picked up TV55 in Philadelphia? That's crazy. The broadcast tower for this station is in Middle Island, NY way out in Suffolk County, Long Island. That's amazing the station reached that far.

I remember Drew on WPIX before he went to TV-55. I didn't realize he went back to Channel 11 later on (I don't live in NY anymore).
