The thing that makes AVA a half decent band is Toms incredible talent for writing melodies which i think is the secret behind his success and is often overlooked. This is just about enough to allow AVA to get by, but it is wasted compared to how well it complimented blink and the whole pop/punk thing.

Tom did quite well, he isn't the greatest live, i will still support Angels & Airwaves, they have amazing lyrics, powerful music, and have changed my world

if you don't like them and you think +44 or blink 182 is better that's cool

but AVA as done more with music i think than +44 or blink, concerning tom delonge.
