What was done to get it to run 8s? Displacement, compression, cams, head work, turbo? Not doubting, just curious how.

And to the person saying a V8 would handle more power...sure. But for the displacement of the little 4 cylinder motors and how light the car is, the power to weight ratio is pretty good. We take advantage of weight reduction as much as possible, it's free performance. You improve acceleration, braking and handling and it's easy.

Pretty impressive for a civic. Definetly not streetable anymore, but still impressive. Whoever put work into that bubble did a good job. Most of the bubbles I see are running 13s maybe 12s with a turbo.
