@lpantilat Hey, I was there the 19-24th in September... the weather was absolutely amazing... It snowed on us once for only about an Hour... A life goal of mine is to do an adventure trek like that... less than 8 hours... that's amazing. Do you have list of the equipment you bring?

Update: I completed the Rae Lakes Loop in 7:29:50 on September 26, 2010 in nearly idyllic conditions.

Man you have to be in amazing shape to do this loop in so little time! Rae Lakes is one of the highlites of the JMT.
