If you watch the video where Casey is in court looking for her parents and then smiles when she sees them - she was looking to see if they still supported and believed her or if they were going to abandon her. That's all she was worried about - not Caylee - since she knew Caylee was dead. Once she saw them and smiled, she knew she had them eating out the the palm of her hand. They babied Casey from the time she was young and condoned her lifestyle and character and made a monster.
I think in retrospect if Cindy had just cut Casey off when she started lying, this case might have been solved a lot earlier. Casey just fed off the fact that her family was a captive audience who supported her and believed everything she said so she spun the web even bigger. If her family would have refused to believe Casey's lies and kept their mouths shut instead of coming up with every reason in the world that Casey is innocent, it would have forced Casey to face this alone.

Notice the sequence of events. The cop corners Cindy with her lies. She responds with hand holding in an attempt to divert his direct questions that she can't handle. Then, when the hand holding fails, she screams, "My granddaughter is missing!!" The statement is yet another attempt by Cindy to divert the direct questions she can't answer.

The Anthonys have allowed Casey to manipulate,control & hold them as emotional hostages.

Cindy is a thug. Look for a criminal arrest record. Maybe an ex-hooker. Shes supposed to be an RN but you can get an RN license with certain criminal convictions. Drug user or illegal drug sales? You won't get that RN license from the State. Convictions for prostitution? You will get the license.

I agree with you robert. I don't think she was a criminal, but she IS a criminal in her own distorted thinking patterns. She creates her own reality, which is a fantasy! Example: I know the car smelled like a dead body was in it, but I can't accept that my daughter killed Caylee, so I'll say there was a rotting pizza in there, instead.

If you watch the video where Casey is in court looking for her parents and then smiles when she sees them - she was looking to see if they still supported and believed her or if they were going to abandon her. That's all she was worried about - not Caylee - since she knew Caylee was dead. Once she saw them and smiled, she knew she had them eating out the the palm of her hand. They babied Casey from the time she was young and condoned her lifestyle and character and made a monster.

I think in retrospect if Cindy had just cut Casey off when she started lying, this case might have been solved a lot earlier. Casey just fed off the fact that her family was a captive audience who supported her and believed everything she said so she spun the web even bigger. If her family would have refused to believe Casey's lies and kept their mouths shut instead of coming up with every reason in the world that Casey is innocent, it would have forced Casey to face this alone.

My wife said the same thing.... she wanted to slap Cindy. (BitchSlap is sort of an ignorant term). Personally, I'd love to punch out George for being such a punk. Every time I see him he's near tears. Not because of Caylee but because this all exposed the family for what freaks they are. Brother Lee deserves a broken jaw, too.
