i don't know why but i can never hear the bass on any of their live recordings. i don't know if it's cause the camera has the treble turned way up but he should either start playing with a pick or crank his shit twice as loud. also i realize the bass isn't that integral to the sound, but still..

I see alot of these Mastodon comparisons, i totally agree, but i think the lack of recognition comes from the long intros, i love them thought, but they dont hit you in the face right of the bat like say Mother puncher or Iron tusk. They will get there though :) imo

I saw these guys with Coheed and and Pride Tiger. All three acts were really good. I had never heard Baroness before and i was really impressed. I had been told they were like a poor mans Mastodon but they are around the same level as mastodon. i like the style that they put out and i look forward to a follow up to Red Album
