I miss my 89' CRZ SI.. red with black interior. It was so fast and so awesome on gas money...I wrecked in on an on-ramp on wet conditions. Front left part of the car was cut off in the accident and I paid for it to be rebuilt.. Had it way past 165,000 miles and ran him till the transmission went out. THE BEST SPORTS CAR FOR THE MONEY!! Its awesome to see an old 1985 are car still on the rod and tearing it up!

@23mrfizz23 i drove from saint Joseph mo to Phelps(just short of Virginia border) ky. i had my gas money separate from my spending moneys,. i figured 35mpg... but when i got to ky i found out that my car got more like 55mpg...stock... on the way back i pulled in behind a dodge stratus and a ford pickup. that had radar. every time the ford slowed down i did. the guy in the ford was pissed because i didn't need gas the whole time.

It also has a low cost chassis, low cost axels, low cost brakes, low cost ball bearings, low cost ball joints and most of all a low cost crash zone.

Yes it has a roll cage, but what good will it do you when the engine will enter the passenger compartment in case of a crash ?

I would take the Lambo in a turn at 200 km/u, but would not dare it with this rusty Honda (did you see the corrosion ?).

This thing can go fast, but it is Russian Roulette, nothing less.

@tigergreg8 Start it off with an AEM Cold air intake, and then maybe get a full exhaust? headers to cat to muffler. DC, Vibrant, Magnaflow are all good starter brands. :) Also most people don't know this but for some noticable acceleration gains try investing in a new Throttle Body. Blox, Skunk2, Omni are all good brands. :) Go for a 65mm+ The bigger the better.

Its not a 5000 dollar CRX; if you want a Honda engine to pull that kind of power you have to go turbo; only problem is Honda engines are not turbo engines; if you bolt a turbo over 10psi on a Honda with stock internals; you might beat lambos for the first 2 weeks before the engine is gone; or, you can convert the engine to be turbo compatable then go high boost and run reliable but thats a $10,000 conversion; with internals block ports heads balance and tuning;
