  • Tom Woods 2022

  • I remember listening to a Tom Woods lecture where he made light of some academic debating people on youtube. I am ashamed that I am guilty of the same practice and still continue to do so anyway.

  • SCREW THIS COMMENT SECTION!!!!!

  • The champion of ideas, that is fantastic, thanks Tom.

  • six flags is better than canobie lol fail

  • I was actually at this. As a free market socialist/mutualist I can't support Ron Paul. He will preserve capitalist privilege.

  • Killer video, great job Tom... gotta love Tom Woods :)

  • Silver hairs, ha, I always call them gray hairs.

  • Ron Paul Revolution !!

  • 5:55 Wow, that comment could not have applied to me more. Glad to know I'm not the only one, or even one of the few for that matter.

  • that's right Tom! screw the comments section! WE GOT YOU COVERED!

  • Tom, thanks for your support for Ron. Superb speech (as usual).

  • tom it is so heartwarming to see your passion for the case and for the man, keep it up!!!

  • every mainstreamamerican should buy this toothpaste

  • @amanuscar: "government is and always will be the problem"? OK. You are one of the big reasons RP will never get elected president. Statements like that damage RP. The government is all of us, you too. The government can do things no corporation, church, individual can do. It should be the embodiment of our collective wishes. Is this subverted a lot? Is our government in need of a tune up? Yes and yes. But saying it only erodes our liberties is a lie, and says you don't get your own government.

  • @jwashfield - Stating a fact like 'government erodes our liberties' is stating a fact. I'm not sure where you can get this wrong. Of course governments erode civil liberties, it's a consequence of their growth. Or are you actually arguing that the Patriot Act does not erode civil liberties, or the NDAA, or that neither of these are government bills signed by our Presidents into law?

Your comments are easily rebuffed by: common sense, Jefferson, Paine, Adams, Hamilton, and Madison

  • @veradinx - And some supporting quotes for you from our Founders.

“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” - Jefferson

“Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have. The course of history shows us that as a government grows, liberty decreases.” - Jefferson

  • @veradinx - and some more..

"When economic power became concentrated in a few hands, then political power flowed to those possessors and away from the citizens, ultimately resulting in an oligarchy or tyranny." John Adams

"As riches increase and accumulate in few hands . . . the tendency of things will be to depart from the republican standard." Alexander Hamilton

  • This Tom Woods.speech just amazing, energetic and cool!

    I wish I was there.

Here Holland... I don't think we got anything political to choose.

But you have got... rocking' Ron Paul 2012!

  • Tom woods for VP?

  • Great speech by Tom Woods, he's done a lot for this campaign, he's a good man.

  • Australia votes for Ron Paul!

  • someone's been drinking...

  • It's true! Tom Woods is awesome! Great speaker!!!

  • Love Tom Woods!

  • HE'S RIGHT!

  • God bless Ron Paul

  • @tomwoodsTV: I was pointed at this speech by a RP supporter when I asked how any of RP's libertarian views would make anyone's (who isn't rich) life better. I agree with a few of RP's ideas, but I also think government should play a role, much like it did in the past when it wasn't put down as something bad that needs to be dismantled. I find it hard to take a politician seriously, who runs around saying how bad government is, when they've been a part of it for quite a while.

  • @jwashfield Government always has been and always will be the problem, unfortunately. It's just that in the past it had more time to bide while it manipulated the currency and slowly eroded our liberties. But that is the natural function of a government as we know it, in that its modus operandi is violence and theft. It's all catching up with itself now and the answer is a free, voluntary, peaceful society.

  • How can ya lose with a guy like this on your side.

  • great crowd

  • vote ron paul.

  • 1 person couldn't find a seat at the party.

  • the reason i support ron paul is becuause his views are far out there...people crying out that he's emtremist are blind thinking the world can work with another pushover US president!

  • Tom Woods would make the PERFECT Vice President for Dr. Paul !

  • Dr. Woods is spot on with the awesome reference to what happened in Poland in the late 80's. Having been born right before the martial law and living through the fall of communism there I'm ready for the Ron Paul Revolution here more then ever! Polish Americans for Ron Paul 2012!

  • What a weird speech, a bunch of self congratulatory rhetoric about how great it is to support Ron Paul, how he "scares" the media and other candidates, how we should be thankful RP is running since he doesn't "need this" and only one mention of an actual idea "starting the whole damn system over again" which is totally meaningless. Also, I think Lech Walesa also had a lot to do with Poland's rising against communism, arguably more so than the pope.

  • @jwashfield Here's some advice in case you ever wind up in this situation: you don't give an academic speech at a bar! You say some (obviously true) things to fire up the crowd. If you'd like a more academic approach, you're welcome to visit my YouTube channel, or see the Ron Paul section at tom woods dot com slash media. You'll have all the great arguments you need.

  • Seeing Tom Woods at a conference in 09' changed my life.

  • Ron Paul=better America=better world

Wish I had someone like him over here. all our PM does is protect the city of London from regulations. the UK banking debt alone is 1000% of GDP.

  • @bassmafiaonline All I can say IS be that someone. Gandhi was right about this Be the change you want to see.

  • @bassmafiaonline - Then fire your PM! Be the change you want to see, run for public office yourself and stop looking for others to step up to the plate!

  • your the best Tom. Every time you speak, you blow me away.

  • I'm pro Ron Paul all the way but the situation at this point needs to stay fragile and bashing needs to stay on the DL till, Ron Paul becomes the climax of his confidence.

  • How can a video only have 302 views but has 336 Like?

  • @Mr2007Subie welcome to youtube censorship. All the real good video do this. So that way all the people who like to see what is most trendy do not get with the real program.

  • @deathmarch5 Oh I am fully aware of the censorship.

  • Why hasn't Tom had a prominent roll within the campaign? Doug Wead does a good job out there, but Tom Woods would be even better!

  • @P0LICEstateWATCH

tom gets hiped up as we can easily see, Doug Wead is perfect cause he's uber-chill when confronting the presstitutes.

  • Ron Paul 2012, Pretty Please with sugar on top!

  • The Romney parts are so hilarious & spot on. Love it!

  • Let's just ignore them and move on... and move them out.

  • I would be curious to see comments from people around the world following this GOP election. I bet alot of them are Ron Paul supporters... like me.. a Canadian.. I would enjoy meeting him and going to one of the rallies. . . I would feel like I am a part of a turning point in history.... RON PAUL 2012

We'll all be able to tell people 30 years from now we were the Revolution!

  • RP2012

  • I love Tom Woods. He keeps me from hating so much. Keeps it fun. Thanks!

  • "The FAKE Left, and the FAKE Right..." EXACTLY! WE need more people talking like this, and a lot more people understanding this. The ruling class does not care about ideology, they only PANDER to the populist-left, and the populist-right, but the ruling class only care about their corporatist masters, and how best to use OUR money to bailout their masters.

  • Ron Paul = Diversity (Creative)

    The Others = Sameness (Boring)

  • the american people are sheep! oh media bias please tell me who I should vote for! Just like I need the government to take care of me I need you to tell me who is best for the job of president

  • He's right about Poland, coming from a Pole

  • Thank god for the internet! Go RP! Convince your families and friends, I have. Contrast him against the other candidates including Obama. Don't forget about The NDAA and the 40,000 American factories which have moved to the world's biggest dictatorship,China since 2001. How many jobs is that? The wars were a smoke screen.

  • I'm from Japan, and Ron Paul should be the Next President!!!

  • @YouAreOneOfUs,

Dude we doing everything in our power. I understand what your saying though. Let's do this. I try to get all of my convicted felon friends to get one of their family members to vote for Paul. They can get involved to. We can do this.

  • Ron Paul President

    Andrew Napolitano VP

    Tom Woods Chief of Staff

    Peter Schiff Treasury Secretary

  • I'm torn...who should Ron Paul's VP be, Judge Nap or Tom Woods.

  • I love Tom Woods' books, blog and speeches, but this night he was on FIRE! Yow! Is there a video of the Jordan Page portion of the rally?

  • I've never seen Tom Woods more animated. He is smart, articulate, but I've never seen him animated. Go Tom. And go Ron Paul!

  • TOM "Muther Fukin" WOODS is a true pimp! I love that guy!

  • I find it deeply fascinating. Ron Paul is not a social person or a political person in general. He tries to be. In reality he is a technical person, a calculating person, a person for which emotion plays a distinct part in his philosophy and christian bent towards altruism which serves him cogently with his technical side to create a greater whole than the sum of his parts.

A truly paradoxical yet understandable character in modern US politics. A force to be reckoned with.

  • Great speech!

    Ron Paul R(evoL)ution 2012!!!

  • Excellent speech!

  • Tom looking good and full of energy. Looks like the paleo lifestyle is agreeing with you!

  • RP 2012

  • Tom Woods, the COOLEST Historian/Economist in the WORLD!!!!

  • YEAAH! Yeah?! YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • RON PAUL supporters are LOSERS if they can't get this Honest man Elected.

Before the caucus comes to your state you have to go find 1 voter a week (3 in NH and SC)that are not voting Paul and educate them on Paul. Then drag them to go vote. Also have them do the same.

There are so many people not voting get them out and VOTE! Your vote is NOT wasted! Go vote and bring a friend!

You are to blame if we don't get him elected. Drag people to vote! Upto 90% don't vote? That's Criminal.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • @YouAreOneOfUs KEEP ON KEEPIN ON BROTHER!!!

    RON PAUL 2012

  • I think Dr.Paul is going to win the presidency, either as a Republican or Libertarian. He has a solid 20% support as of right now and that's with 6 candidates in the race.If the Republicans deny him the nomination and he runs 3rd party,he will win a three way race against Romney and Obama.

  • Ron changes lives!!

  • some of the people yelling in the background are fucking annoying.

Tom woods is an amazing speaker though

  • Thumbs up for Tom as the new 2012 Sec. of State!!!!!

    ;)

  • Santorum has lovely legs

  • It's not a cult of personality when we've got people like Rand Paul, Judge Napolitano, & the great Tom Woods. Ron Paul 2012 all the way but we've got some amazing talent being prepared for the next wave!

  • This guy...

Tom Woods... He might be the best person on earth right now to explain Economics.

Peter Schiff is damn good too.

Tom Woods has moments of Brilliance, he is very smart and able to make a very tough thing to understand easy for most people.

If Tom Woods is For Dr. Ron Paul.

You best be considering him too.

I sure have and will Vote for Dr. Paul.

So will any one that knows the difference.

  • I love listening to Tom! He's a very intelligent and articulate man and a great champion for The Revolution!

"We're the toothpaste that's not going back into the tube!" LoL! What a great line!

Ron Paul 2012...Possibly our last chance to get it right!

  • I guess some people in that room thought the 2 or 3 people should be giving the speech. Pipe down, choir, and let others hear Tom speak.

  • Ron Paul the only consistent candidate!!!

  • Ron Paul 2012!

    Ron Paul 2016!

    Ron Paul 2020!

    Ron Paul's IDEAS - FOREVER!

  • Comment removed

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Until 1979 no black man could be a deacon or elder of mormon church

MItt Romney should asked "what it was like being a mender of a racist organisation?"

  • Let it not be said we did Nothing.

    RON PAUL 2012!! For Liberty!!

  • fukk the establishment - go Ron Paul go!

  • Love being sent from California!!!! This Dem is voting Ron Paul in the open primary.

  • @phillisthebarbarian Too long has the establishment media pushed the 2 party dictatorship! The time to join forces against tyranny is NOW!!!

  • This guy is awesome

  • It's the Christians who are doubtful of Ron Paul BECAUSE he speaks of letting Israel fend for itself. That, to a Christian, who has been led to believe that Israel and the Jews are the chosen people of God, is heresy. Christians have been duped into believing lies as truth as far as the Jews and Israel are concerned. The belief that the Jews are STILL God's Chosen is a Judaic lie that has infiltrated into the church. And Christians believe this as fact. They have been blinded by deception.

  • @preterist1972 so true. Although it's perhaps easy for us to see it and their vision is clouded.

  • @phillisthebarbarian Ron Paul supporters see very clearly. Believe in TRUTH!

  • @phillisthebarbarian It's not so much their vision is clouded I believe, it's that they have been conditioned to believe FALSE TEACHINGS coming from "WOLVES-IN-SHEEPS'-CLOTHING" that has been perpetuated EVER SINCE THE CHURCH WAS FOUNDED.

The Jews lost it all in AD70 and were hell-bent on reclaiming it back since then. They got it all back in 1948 but their infiltration into Christianity and the church was the major factor in their "gaining the whole world" and the church.

  • @preterist1972

While this might be true, it's not what they want to hear. I've had great success reminding these neo-christians that Israel has shown time and time again that they have the military muscle to defend themselves, and they actually do not WANT our military to intervene on their behalf as it incites more violence for all of us. Netanyahu himself has said as much, that "Israel can take care of herself"

Also remind them we give 7x the aid to israel, to her enemies

  • @SeppLainer I believe it is not Netanyahu who is calling the shots. It's our ZOG who is calling the shots. The Zionists are the ones behind all this. THEIR ZOG and THEIR ZIONIST-OWNED-AND-CONTROLLED MSM are behind the attack on Ron Paul. Don't you think? They don't pay attention to Netanyahu. They have their plans which are

    independant of Netanyahu's.

  • @preterist1972

pt2. And since ron paul wants to end all foreign welfare, that would be a net benefit to israel! And ron paul is not anti-israel, ron paul want s to trade and be friends, and of course, israel has 300-500 nukes, they can take care of themselves.

  • @preterist1972 Very astute. Christians follow blindly and believe Israel is the promised land or is some kind of sacred cow. I know, because I used to be one of those people. I encourage people to read Matthew 5:9 5:45 5:35 . Then decide whether or not we should bomb everybody who blinks.

  • @shadowbankers I used to be one of them too! MOST of them are VICTIMS of Judaic lies and deceit that has managed to infiltrate into the church OVER THE CENTURIES. They are afraid, perhaps, to question their authorities who are their pastors, ministers, self-proclaimed "biblical scholars" whose comments appear in Bibles. They go with the masses' interpretations instead of taking a leap of faith and make the Bible their authority and read Scripture for themselves.

  • thank for uploading.. that was awesome!

  • Mind Control?

  • @SuperMeatsause In a sense yes. The MSM keeps repeating "Unelectable, dangerous, crazy, cranky, etc." with Ron Paul's name, so when someone brings up Ron Paul the 1st thing they think of is the "unelectable, dangerous, crazy, cranky, etc." In a sense that is mind control.

  • @turboteabag08 LOL well in todays world dangerous is safe and safe is dangerous.

    Ron Paul 2012!

VOTE AS THE WHOLE WORLD IS RIDING ON IT!

  • @turboteabag08

They fail. Every time they libel & slander Ron Paul, people look him up, and he gains support. Every time they bloat the asinine assertion that he "can't" win, people look him up, and he gains support. When they ignore him, people wonder why, look him up, and he gains support. They can't win either way, can you? When they call him a racist, Black Americans are laughing at them, every time they call him a homophobe, homosexual Americans laugh at them, because they know better!

  • @turboteabag08 No, that is specifically mind control. There is no ray gun or magic spell. Consistent repetition of statements by authorities is mind control. The originators of the theory and technique say so.

  • @turboteabag08 it is mind control through repetition...thats why the establishment control media, news, reporters, television, radio, etc

  • @turboteabag08 There are legitimate reasons for thinking Ron Paul is crazy. His statements on socialism make me think he's never done a 5 minute Wikipedia search on Germany or other European countries or on healthcare. A lot of objections von Mises has to socialism don't apply to its modern application. Good for me that I agree with him on most other things, and he's not planning on putting the things I don't agree with into immediate practice. :)

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 If you believe "economic stimulus" is anything other than a political tool, or that government claiming it can "create jobs" is not misguided socialism, I would recommend reading "What is Seen and What Is Not Seen" by Frederic Bastiat econlib(dot)org/library/Bastiat/basEss1.html . The First part is known as the Parable of the Broken Window.

  • @metamemetics I'm familiar with the broken glass parable, and it's only true if everything is already operating at 100% efficiency. If the glass maker dude is only partially employed or the guy whose window broke is saving money he had no plan on spending, then breaking the window is productive. Stimulus money is also only one half of Keynesian economics, the other half is high taxes and low spending when the economy is running hot, which is what Clinton did in the 90s.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 Breaking things which need to be replaced immediately can be beneficial? Are you really saying that? If so, you need to clarify your thinking. The only reason we work is to produce things that make our life better. Breaking something and then working to fix it only to break it again is idiotic, and so is Keynesian-ism.

Money saved that wouldn't be spent? 100% efficiency? Why not add a unicorn in just so that its clear how impossible it is.

  • @Hashishin13 I don't understand what you're saying. If breaking things didn't sometimes stimulate the economy, then how did we get out of the great depression? The standard answer is that it was WWII, which was probably the greatest expenditure of resources that helped no one (not that we shouldn't have fought the war) in the history of the earth. I don't know what why you think it's unreasonable to have unspent money.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 research "parable of the broken window".

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 And that's why it absolutely, without a doubt, is NOT what ended the Depression. Watch a YouTube by Robert Higgs called "The Myth of War Prosperity," and you'll see your errors.

  • @tewj57 I had to watch this idiot for half an hour before he said anything at all related to his stated thesis. If war production is white noise, as he says, then you just look at the part of the GDP graph where they quit war production and estimate from there. There is a dip where they lay off all the factory workers and discharge the soldiers, but it's still 1.5 times as much as high in the dip as at the start of the war and 2 as high as the worst part of the great depression.

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken2 I've never heard anyone ever say that people were wealthy DURING the war, only that a lot of people were employed and saved up money that they spent right after the war was over to compensate for the wartime scarcity. He's not done anything but tell me what I already know and attack a pathetic strawman with only 2 arguments that could have been presented in under a minute.
