but when i gave it a chance, i loved it and now think of 5d's as the equivalent (and dare i say superior?) of the original series

but just the way they have set up zexal pisses me off, its like there trying to say fuck off to the original fans of yugioh

@FarhanC99 Not really, Ive watched all the series, and even though there are similarities, I still like it, and recognize it as a different show. As Long as it doesnt turn out as a complete carbon copy, then it will probably be good. Remember, alot of people class the original yu-gi-oh as the best series. And tbh, i dont think the whole memory loss thing with astral will turn out the same as it did with Yami Yugi.

what i mind is how they are trying to introduce yugioh to newer and younger audiences

the transformation scenes when they start a duel

the armor than yuma gets

they have to explain the simplest of concepts like advance summoning

yuma is just a beginner (unlike the other 3 protagonists that were born with godlike dueling skills), and as yuma learns the rules of dueling its also introduced to the newer audience

i feel like zexal isnt for me to watch

@FarhanC99 I personally like the idea of seeing a young unskilled duelist grow into a true champion. Its a change after all the invincible protagnonists we've had. Unfortunatly Zexal just isnt that good of a series as a whole...

but it doesnt work for yugioh, since the action is all card games is kinda annoying for them to have to explain even the most basic of rules

i just hope zexal finishes fast and the next series starts with a serious protagonist

the creator of yugioh has said zexal will be teh last yugioh series, but he also said that about 5d's and gx at the time they were out, as long as zexal doesnt kill the yugioh franchise we will get another series

It's possible that there are more than 5 signer dragons. There are two different flashbacks that dipict both the yellow dragon and Blackfeather as being servents of the Crimison Dragon when he battled the Earthbound Gods. The yellow one was shown when they beat the ones the DS used. Blackfeather was in the one when they battled Scar Red Nova.
