I think when people are saying it's fake, they mean he's not really playing. Because he isn't. Just like the Sax guy isn't. Just like they are all lip syncing. Because media doesn't allow live performances to be live anymore.

@Shaaaane This is true. But the guy was confused as the Violin as no hollow wooden center. To quote him "How does the sound get picked up when there's no wood to fine tune the sound?". Regardless of mimed or not, the Violin is an electric violin, which was the point he was confused on :). Thanks for the comment though, thanks to you future commenters will have the extra knowledge of knowing it is also mimed.

Says the person using 'u' for 'you' and not capitalizing. What's your reasoning behind them not lip syncing? The reason I say that they are, is if they were singing, you'd hear slight imperfections as you hear with real live concerts, as stated previously, they don't really do "live" performances anymore on this show at the very least. As for why I'm 'pretty DUMB', my guess is as good as the next person's.

@ospreyhawk Oh wait, you mean the Violin? It's not fake, it's just an electronic Violin (a Violin you can plug into midi/other sources for high quality sound for live performances). It's like an electric guitar, in that it doesn't require a hollow center to amplify the sound. Google search "electronic Violin" if you are unsure.
