one thing about our society that sucks is that we are driven towards proccessed food. even fresh food is spoilt by production lines. alot of the veg in supermarkets is inferior because it is picked before it has had time to harvest on the plant and is grown for size from artifical fertilizers which are after a product looking big rather than tasting good. its like a tomato picked when ripe is not overly watery and stay set but the supermarket tomatoes are always watery
