ive lived in humboldt all but 3 yrs of my life i like it for the most part but yall city folk may not last.the sky is gray and the grass is green.Yall better like to get a little mud on your shoes.If you have a vehicle id reccomend puttin some mudder on er or stay in the city limits.its nice to pack a back pack and tke your dog and friends and head up the hills but yall city folk musnt try this without a guide or experience yall might get lost
I lived in humboldt as an HSU student and I know a lot of people that hated humboldt growing up there, but as a student and someone who was older i can appreciate the community for what it is. If you like being away and the outdoor lifestyle i.e. camping, rock climbing etc then humboldt can be really freeing. For a young person though it can be restricting, which is why I moved bk to the bay area
