I v lived in Bucuresti, the metro system serves downtown area pretty efficiently, about ten m. walk to any point in downtown, that s pretty good in comparison to any other city I v been to.

as most as i like your videos i have to correct you. the metro system actually covers verry well the city center and here i am talking about the following stations:Piata Unirii , Universitate , Izvor (exits near Casa Poporului ) , Piata Romana (exits near Romanian Atheneum) . So if u want to visit the Bucharest city center as a tourist those 4 train stations are more than enough. The real problem is the lack of coverage in neighbourhoods such as 5,6,12,13,14 (on the metro map).
@djkhrystyan stiu si eu.... ca bucurestean adesea m-am vazut nevoit sa schimb mai multe mijloace de trasnport ca za ajung dintr-un loc in altul datorita acoperirii reduse a metroului;
dar ma rog... pentru turishti, bucurestiul e bine servit; metrou, autobuze, tramvai (aropegratis mai ales dak faci blat care e foarte usor); pentru turishti chiar e foarte bine;

bucharest subway system needs to be enlarged! l am using it daily and many parts of the city are not served !

@djkhrystyan agree with you. city center is well served and all major points of interest are about ten minutes walk away from the metro, at most.

don't get fouled by the speed of the metro in this video because it is fast-forwarded when the metro is in motion :P. a cheap trick to my mind!
