Love the Fog Reggae style for sure. Sweet bass line. "Do you like my outfit?" great stuff. And the dance breakdown.. there's so much to love about this one.
@losthills Thanks for listening! I'm trying to be a little more patient to get things better before I post these days. I'm still jealous of all you live players; I got to give that a try one of these days. I haven't performed live since about 1994.
Love it! I keep playing it over and over cuz it gets stuck in my head! Incredible edit work - I especially like the Sith Lightning coming out of your throat chakra... And the "something like this" interlude!
@teflonheadbuddha Thanks for listening! My wife bought me some new software at Christmas time and so I was trying out different things... including the force. Thanks for checking it out and the cool comment.
I like the groove, the harmonies, and the four "real" girls dancing.... the others are just scary. I may be wrong but I think that was your message. So, I say, well done. Thanks. Youtube can use an artistic approach like this.
@TheMinstrelSpirit Thanks for listening, Rob. I got another guitar in that same Craigslist deal will will show up eventually (its REALLY cool.) Yeah, there's nothing quite like dancing girls lol.
You have been doing quality audio production from day one Dan, so is cool you have drafted in her indoors to pimp your vids! The break had me all copa cobana aswell! Best yet mate!
That's a great song, and your wife did a great job on the backdrop. I love the reggae beat and the interlude (dancing omgosh!) Really enjoyed this Dan!
@BluesMamaRaven Thanks for stopping by, Raven. Yeah, my wife is a pretty clever artist. I thought it was a cool gift too, instead of a stupid neck tie or something.
Hey You!! This is Brilliant...Love Reggae and this is SOOOOOO COOOOOL! Loved the break...the girls in the video are just Precious and so cute!! You did a Bang up job on this song, the video...Everything! This was fun to watch...you're so clever, talented and creative...Yep, you are!!
Kinda scary knowing that there really are people like this (shudders)
Dan, you are a man of many talents but I wouldn't have guessed Psychoanalyst too great beats, great styling....ahhh, who are all of your models? (just kidding)
@kiaweking Thanks for listening, Thomas. It wasn't hard to find models. It turns out the internet is full of girls taking pictures of themselves dancing and putting on make-up. Believe it or not, I even know where I can get some footage if I right a song about opening a can o' whoop ass :)
@paddyRYAN1367 Thanks for stopping by, paddy. You know, I think you're one of my longest standing youtube friends. I'm glad you dig my stuff enough that you keep coming around.
@ljped Thanks for listening, Jack. I sure feel like there is no one older them me; I guess I need a vitamin or something. I hope all is well with you and the boys... looking forward to your next jam. Its cool that you have friends... I have to clone myself lol.
@edro333 Thanks for checking it out! You'd think that working with one's twin would be easy, but the family dynamics sometimes cause us trouble. No fist fights yet, thankfully.
hi Dan. i'm impressed with the amount of focus you must have, not to mention, fertile imagination, to create something this intircate to sustain such a simple message. your visual choices are very appropriate to the subject while also being quirky and smile worthy. (enjoyed the examples of how she dances). i am also pleased to see that you only ALMOST overplay the bass. your left hand is obviously in familiar territory. going for the reggae was another cool choice. fine work, peace, chuck.
@chuxtrux Thanks for listening, Chuck. I guess you caught on that I'm primarily a bass player. I play enough guitar to make my compositions work, but most of my tunes are driven by the bass. I appreciate that you take the time to listen to my stuff. Rock on!
@Cameragirl803 Thanks for listening, Jane, and the cool comment; its always a honor to get fav'ed. My wife is pretty clever with art stuff; its cool she even thought of something like this.
@mettanc Thanks for listening, Michael. I can always count on you to stop by. I actually wrote this song when I was in graduate school. Its suppose to illustrate histrionic personality disorder. I had a professor who was facinated by my history as a musician.
@7lizet Thanks for listening, Lizet. The tune is suppose to be more about shallowness then beauty. Don't worry, I don't judge you for your good looks :)
First of all, I want a SG! Secondly, the guitarist makes this band in my opinion, although the bass dude probably gets all the chicks. Diggin the FOG banner and the "Do you like my everythings?"
@experimentalrock Yeah, this band has complicated dynamics; the bass player is pretty full of himself. I'm not surprised you need an SG, you are a little short of guitars. My wife made the FOG banner for my 52nd birthday a few days ago... its a lot better then my disheveled "studio."
Nice! I like the lyrics. I still think that bass is so cool and sounds great. LOL - the bridge is crazy. Your mix is nice and clean and those drums sound really clear. Well done!
@nuketoober Thanks for checking it out. btw, you're a lot easier to work with then the jerk guitar player I have in this band (although he does have a pretty cool '92 SG now)
"...She bow before the mirror..." It say's it all already there lol! But real cool text and humour of it all with the wild cow bell and wistle dance-o-thon ha ha! Love the choice of image and editing. Hey excellent reggae man yah maan;-)
"Pretty is as pretty does" ... Looks are great if all you want to do is look at a person but eventually you'll have to talk to them -- heheh ... nice tune, Mark -- I like reggae but I like ska more -- so speed it up -- lol.
@cadwalladee Thanks for listening! My wife bought me some new software for Christmas, so I've been trying to do some different stuff; but my brain is getting tired of learning new things lol.
Very nice, that's cool reggae for sure, that song would certainly go down well in clubs by me, they're all UB40 fans. Great lyrics, you're right mate, some people are only interested in how they look.
Great arrangement, playing and vocals, brilliant!!!!
