  • this so sounds like the music from the mummy or the mummy returns

  • this game was my first ever 360 game

  • @gmterminater

    Cool, me too.

  • altair > ezio

  • de la ptm

  • The first time seeing Damascus was amazing.

  • sounds like Aladdin's music :D

  • For tower climbing...

  • Seriously, it's because of tracks like this that I consider AC1 to be the best game in the franchise when it comes to atmosphere. Sure, gameplay or story are superior in the sequel(s), but Ubisoft never topped the atmosphere and setting of the first game IMO. It's a shame that the Crusades are used VERY rarely in video games.

  • @Incog2k6

    agreed 100%

  • @Incog2k6 agreed. AC1 sounds way more....spooky and mysterious that freaked me out very often, while AC2 and others took a more peaceful approach. Altair is a silent man, so it also adds to the mysterious atmosphere.

Let's hope that AC3 has something new.

  • @prankovalero

Not knowing much about Altair greatly added to the mysterious atmosphere of AC1.

  • I really think Altair was SO much more badass than Ezio.. Its a shame they didnt focus on Altair as much..

  • @isawayto Agreed. Everyone is always like "Ezio's the better character" because for one, there are more games about him to help you understand him, and two, because Altair was never the playful type. If anything, he's one of the best characters; stoic and noble, bearing the ability to overcome arrogance, which is a trait that all humans share. Besides... it only took him one game to get shit done, lol, though it was only a small portion of his life.

  • I really loved AC1 for it to be set in Damascus. It is located in Syria, which is my parents' country!!

  • alalalalalalalalalalalalala

  • Good job, Goulter. You've been very reasonable.

This only proves your point even more.

  • Comment removed

  • why assassins creed OST???

  • unfortunately damascus and all syria is bleeding because of the fucking politiciens ....: :_(

  • THE MUMMY O.O

  • i wish their were a time machine so we could see what it was like. Even if my life was short it would be worth it!

  • Reminds me of Egypt...damn how it must have been cool to live in those times..besides poverty, corruption, and alot of wars..and death..basically now but with guns

  • 2 people play cod :D

  • lmfao!!! i totally wanna play this now! 1st AC is still my favorite

  • *I'm Proud to be middle eastern* :D

  • @MarjanQasemi14 hey, i know you :D

  • @bahrom7893 lol really? XD

  • @MarjanQasemi14 lol hmm let's see.. you called me a dumb b****, someone hacked into your account and spammed me, i helped you with physics at some point.. oh and yea i trolled your update with See More recently..

  • @bahrom7893 o_____o thats scary and when did i call u a dumb bitch????? and who hacked my account??? what account??

  • @MarjanQasemi14 fb? lol.. jefferson? I'm known as auditore there lol

  • Such a strong city those times.. Under the ottoman rule everything whas much better in that region.. But now assad fucks every corner of the streets there

  • ليس هناك ما هو صحيح ، فكل شيء مباح

  • @CryptiCxReapeR That is weird Arabic... Google Translate?

  • @naedanger123 my keyboard has no arabic keys so i had to lol but ya i know how

  • This is A Oriental beat maan , a little bit Arabic style and a Little bit Turkish style (OSMAN)

  • اللة اكبر

  • my home town

  • I need to go to Damascus and play this on my I-Pod when I walk in...

  • @naedanger123 lol now thats funny

  • @naedanger123 Achievement unlocked : "Homecoming" 500G

  • @naedanger123 lol, same

  • @naedanger123

I realise you're joking. But man that would be a disaster if you did.

  • @naedanger123 Now isnt probaly the best time to go.

  • @ImperialGuard9001 Да, I agree...

  • @naedanger123 kinda hard right now due to the violent uprising happening there...

  • @gamerneek Not if you are Altair!

Nah, just kidding. Yeah, I know about that. That's the only problem I have with Arabic countries: they are very dangerous.

  • @naedanger123 why is it dangerous, have you ever went there??. no?, then stop judging man, you

are always welcome to any Arabic country. don't believe what the governments are telling you. it's just a country, what is there to tell ???. thanks god the crime rate in the Arab countries 3%. unlike the united states 86%. dude you may know that in every second someone dies in new York. dangerous??. you need to look up at your calculations

  • @jakshepard Well, I've been to Damascus once, and I was watching my back a lot. It was probably my fault though. I failed to add 'because of the revolution going on'.

I know I am welcome into Arabic countries. Did I say I wasn't? Nope. Crime rate in Arab countries 3%? I'm not believing that for one second. Afghanistan? Yeah...

  • @naedanger123 and that was the problem, you went in the middle of a revolution, what do you expect, people are rebelling and by the way, let me get this straight. for the million of times India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, turkey and even Persia. THEY ARE NOT ARABIC COUNTRIES. ask your teacher, your wife or anyone, because they have different culture and we speak different language and our customs are totally different. the arab countries are ones that lies within the middle east. understand that.

  • @jakshepard I didn't go in the middle of a revolution. I went in 1995 with my dad to see relatives. My dad told me that while it is a good city and much safer than New York (A.K.A. The Shitstain of America), it can still be dangerous.

When I said Arabic country for Afghanistan, I meant that they speak a dialect of Arabic (Urdu mainly). That was probably too vague a definition, but it's too late to change my comment now.

  • @naedanger123 well i hope after every revolution ends, like Libya, Tunis, Egypt and Yemen. you're totally welcome. in our country saudia Arabia. foreigners are treated like kings. special care, special guards for every foreign citizen weather a tourist or guy who wants to live and work. no taxes in our country. and our economy is great. you won't have to save money, everything is cheap here. full fuel are like 5 dollars only lol. you're going to have fun around here, i hope i just made it clear

  • @jakshepard

Yes, and you treat Pakistani and Bangladeshi workers like slaves.

  • @isawayto look my friend in every country they treat some of the people like bullshit, not only Indians and Pakistanis. it's just you have to be positive and not to judge everyone :)

  • @jakshepard Saudi Arabia? Why didn't you say so? THAT is an example of a good country. Compared to S.A., America is a complete failure. Sure, America is bigger with more power, but it just doesn't treat people, tourist or resident alike, with respect. I regret to say I have never been to your country, but I have met a few people who have, and they have only said good things about it.

  • @naedanger123 Why don't you ask the women how they feel about Saudi Arabia?

  • God how i miss this Assasins creed....cant find it in the shops now :/

  • @000TROY000 If you have a ps3 you can get it on psn for 20$

  • I've never had a more epic experience in a video game when i saw damascus for the first time and the music was the icing on the cake!

  • @Birdmastr377 yummm cakes sounds good right now.... :d ...oh yaaa AC was amazing tooo!!! C;

  • @Birdmastr377 I KNOW RIGHT :D

I started playing AC 1 last week and I'm already hungry for more!

I'm at the last 2 lords to kill.

  • @Birdmastr377 I feel you, the shear size of the city was just astonishing and the camera pan just made me jizz to be honest xD

  • I've never played Assassin's Creed before, but now I want to.

  • Video games are becoming so damn good.

  • lmfao at goulter and sasuke argueing about god on an assassins creed video.

  • OST means cheese in swedish. just sayin'

  • this theme reminds me of the mummy lol

  • @ShadowSolaris7 me too! it's the egyptian instruments in the beginning. great movie btw

  • Dirty thief! I'll take your hands for this!!

You dare steal in my presence? That will cost you your life!!

    FILTH! You are FILTH!

    *Assassinates guard*

    INFIDEL DIE!!

El Droyale... *stabs neck, dying gurgle*

You will pay for your sins. DEATH TO THE INFIDEL

    *turns and runs*

    YOU CANNOT RUN FOREVER!

  • I fell in love with Jesper Kyd when i played Hitman. In Asassin's Creed, i wasn't dissappointed by his contribution.

  • Sounds very semetic

  • I think of those scholars that present those speeches as ignorant people , or just trouble makers , i mean the war is between two sides , what do u expect from a big mouthed scholar

  • @ezioauditore392 its a video game mate, they've been programmed to do that

  • @slimshadythe2nd Im aware , im just saying

  • @ezioauditore392 Why do you hate Pakistanis?

  • @slimshadythe2nd I dont hate them , I hate persians

  • @ezioauditore392 lol actually i accidently asked you that, since i meant to reply to a differant problem , but why do you hate Persians? arent you muslim?

  • @slimshadythe2nd I hate persians not over religion but over politics , the president of iran is helping the criminal syria goverment against its peaceful protesters , and since im syrian i will take a position in this , IRAN IS KILLING MY PEOPLE

  • @ezioauditore392 Then hate the government of Iran, not Iranians! and trust me, Assad and the Baath will be gone soon. They cannot scare the Syrians into submission submission any longer. Arab nationalism and dictators will be gone, and Syria will be the great country it was meant to be.

    - salaaam

  • @slimshadythe2nd thank you , and u r .. Palestinian ?

  • @ezioauditore392 no im Azeri

  • @slimshadythe2nd plesured to meet u

  • This is the real Arabic culture,

To bad that a lot of peole mix the beautifull Arabic culture with terrorism and war

  • @ahmedelfak it's not really the culture, it's Islam which tells people to be hateful. That's what's really sad. I wish Muslims come to the truth. God Bless you

  • @Sasuke90000000 No, it is really the Arabic culture. I am an Arab but i am not a muslim. And still, people call me terrorist 'n stuff, so people are mixing the Arabic culture with terrorism

  • @ahmedelfak Well people are just stereotypical, don't worry about the ppl. Anyway what religion are you?

  • @Sasuke90000000 I don't believe in religion. And i also agree that Islam isn't the best religion. Like the position of women for example. There are a lot of complications in the Islam, but we may not forget that the Islam also great things in the past 1300 year. Like science, mathemathics, practice of medicine and art. Islam isn't a good religion, but i hate it when people only whant to put the Islam in a negative way in the history books.

  • @ahmedelfak how has Islam helped science, mathematics, practice of medicine and art? Idk, but to me it seems there is nothing good about islam.

  • @Sasuke90000000 The Islam discoverd a lot of important things, like disease's (Cancer, tumor's,...). The Europeans couldn't explain a lot of deaths but the Islam could. The Islam also brought very import math rules. And did you saw the Islamtic Art. Its very beautifull, take the art of the Morish culture in Spain and Morocco for example. There religion is crazy but they did great things in history. Of course today the world looks better without Islam, but we may not forget what they did.

  • @ahmedelfak Well I understand if islamic people did these things, but I don't really get how the religion is responsible for these good things, anyway I don't understand how people could not believe God exists. I mean how can everything come from nothing? Everything has a purpose. It was designed so to think that that just randomly happened isn't very smart. Life can only come from other life so we can't come from nothing. If God didn't exist, we wouldn't either.

  • @Sasuke90000000 With the Islam,i mean people who did it in the name of the Islam.Years ago when i was younger,I was a muslim. And i also couldn't understand that people did believe that anything came from nothing. My biggest fear was to lose my religion.I preferred to die then to lose my religion. For years i researched different religions(Juadism, Christianity, Islam). And i came to the conclusion that Farao Echnaton from ancient Egypt started the momotheism religion. (This is a personal oppinion)

  • @ahmedelfak if he started it then why is there so much evidence for the bible? I mean exodus has been proven (they found evidence at mount sinai) and there still is no other explanation for why we are here. I could go deeper if you want me to.

  • @Sasuke90000000 I really want to go on with this discussion, but i'm going to Paris in a half hour till friday. I hope we can go on with this conversation friday if you want to because i can also tell you a lot of my research :D

  • @ahmedelfak yeah sure. I'm interested.

  • @Sasuke90000000

Oh jeez, open your mind.I honor Christianity,Judaism and religion+spirituality as a whole but don't get stuck with a single narrow minded opinion on Islam or in fact any religion as a whole. If you do so should i remind you about the Christian Inquisitions, colonialism efforts and crusades?

  • @kig132 nothing to do with christianity, they just used it as an excuse. Btw I'm not "narrow minded". WHen I know something I'm not going to pretend I don't just not to make people angry.

  • @Sasuke90000000 God does exist , unfortunately some ppl still dont believe it

  • @ezioauditore392 maybe they want proof over blind belief :)

  • @goulter1985 dude its just common sense , no human in this world not even Romulus can build something from nothing , Ex. planets , stars , sun , earth , humans etc.

  • @ezioauditore392 Counter-active argument. Your logic says God must have been created by something too then. Second, humans werent "built", as planets weren't either. I think the idea of the big bang, different forms of matter coming together in a composition to form earth, iron, water, graphite etc etc is more sensical than the "magic man in the sky".If you argue yes in the existence of God,you really shouldn't use logic as your reasoning.Religion/God and logic don't fit well together, never have

  • @Sasuke90000000 plz nothing personal , i am a muslim just plz dont talk shit about them

  • @ezioauditore392 I'm not

  • @Sasuke90000000 Im not a big fan of religion. Islam did do alot for mathematics especially though, case in point, Algebra. They figured out a good way of plumbing, which crusaders didnt even know of until they were there. This is all if you hold the religion responsible. Christianity makes the same claims often so I am speaking in that context.

  • @Sasuke90000000 Islam, Christianity, Catholocism etc. They have all had followers preaching hate. All these religions original message was lost long long ago, personally think the world would be better off without all of them. You can't say Islam preaches hate without admitting to abrahamic religions having done the same...everyone knows it to be true.

  • @goulter1985 nope tell me where it says in the bible to do anything bad, I could tell u where in the koran there are4

  • @Sasuke90000000 If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.

If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death.

Oh yes! It's full of holy goodness lol. go bible bash somewhere else.

  • @goulter1985 ok, so apparently righteousness and consequences are bad? And it seems you atheists seem to forget all about love your neighbor as yourself aand all the things everyone would know were good when you talk about the bible. Go fuck up somewhere else

  • @Sasuke90000000 What is so righteous about slavery, dead children and forcing a girl to marry her rapist? What is that? The consequence for being raped?? Your a good definition of the word moron. Your preaching about "love your neighbour" when at the same time you slander hate about another belief? Hypocrite..nothing new for religion. Had this debate a thousand times, not gonna waste time convincing another religious zealot. Enjoy your ignorance you extremely simple person :).

  • @goulter1985 slavery- It doesn't say slavery is ok, it says if you are a slave you should obey It's no ones fault but yours that you misinerpret things

Where does it say you have t kill your child ?

Btw what's more stupid, that everything came rom nothing, by nothing with all it's purpose, or that we were created?

  • @goulter1985 There is evidence for a worldwide flood, they found Noah's ark, they found mt sinai and everything that was said in the bible was like it was supposed to be (they had a show on it on History channel), there were numerous people who saw jesus perform miracles and wrote about him (besides the gospels in the bible), there are plenty of scientific things in the bible ppl didn't know back then like one verse saying God hung the earth on nothing, and what about allthefulfilledprophesies

  • @goulter1985 watch?v=SIBsC3zsAPY

    watch?v=8yJZHk1IBR0

Watch these 2 vids if you're not so ignorant to ignore anything that doesn' agre with you (btw you think God is evil right? well ou'd be wrong, but you still admitted God exists, I don't go calling the toothfairy evil cause know it's no real I mean how can something that doesn't exist be evil?)

  • @Sasuke90000000 I didn't admit anywhere that God exists. Ironic your talking about ignoring things I dont agree with yet you blabber on about the "evil" in Islam. All these religions are the same. Second, no I dont think God is evil because God does not exist. You don't know God is anymore real than the tooth fairy. Neither has been proven to you so God has as much credibility as leprechauns.

  • @goulter1985 U dont know anything about religion,so keep ur mouth shut,u dont have any faith then dont talk anything

  • @Ali35121 I would be willing to bet I know more on religion than yourself. A very typical zealot attitude you have there..."agree with us or shut your mouth"..not surprising. I don't need "faith" (AKA blind hope and false belief) to know about it. When something is proven, I believe it. And no..Bible stories do not constitute proof. Go away and continue to be brainwashed now...bye.

  • @Sasuke90000000 Quoting you "(btw you think God is evil right? well ou'd be wrong, but you still admitted God exists)"

Lol I don't even have to say something yet somehow you choose what I admit and dont admit. Whats the point of opinion when you think you have the right to choose what people believe and think...well it makes sense...since when do religious people care about freedom of opinion huh? It's only "right" when it agrees with your cults beliefs yes? Christian extremist much...

  • @Sasuke90000000 btw...most people would agree that slavery, killing children and forcing a woman to marry her rapist would be universally wrong. If you do think those things are just and rationalize them somehow..you have a seriously twisted mind and should seek some help.

  • @goulter1985 it doesn't say to have slaves in the bible now does it, and it never says to kill children, and it's not my fault some people don't understand bible verses but twist them to make them be hot they want them to be.

  • @Sasuke90000000 You obviously havn't read the message I posted above. Or even read your own bible apparently. And those things that are written havnt been twisted in any way, they are written exactly as they are written from all that doctrine. Typical excuse when religious text is shown to be wrong, incorrect, bad or just plain sick, "oh your twisting it, its supposed to be a metaphor". Heard it a thousand times...

  • @goulter1985 and you obviously haven't read my other messages. or you just can't refute the evidence I've provided. Why don't you actually look below and read my other comments?

  • @Sasuke90000000 Uh..you havn't given any evidence to refute.I gave 3 quotes early on from the bible that are considered by most people to be quite sick, demented and perverted. You asked me to look at some indoctrination videos? Sorry but that isn't evidence. Your comments all became idiocy when you said that righteousness is part of those 3 things (slavery, children dead, rape) and consequences also. Like I said, your a zealot...and far too incompetent to to be considered for intelligent debate

  • @Sasuke90000000 Please spell the quran right,Its QURAN

  • Im from damascus :D

  • Templar: TEMPLAR!!! This is templar!

    Altair: Templar? THIS IS ASSASSIN!!!

  • @RupeeLord

  • @RupeeLord U my friend are hardcore.I memorized all the ac 1 lines too...couldnt afford ac 2 so i played ac 1 for like 3 years non stop....

  • @ChrisH11515 Yeah, lol, the citizen's lines in AC are very memorable. It's a shame none of them ever became a meme, though :P

  • This game was truly one of the first games to change music in video games from just for fighting to a musical score.

  • assasins creed has the best soundtrack of any game ive played

  • @Nutto666

    SURE !!

THE COMPOSER AND THE MUSICIAN IS ((( JASPER KYD )))

  • i think its funny that out of 24, 741 views, only ONE person dislikes it. i love how this music plays when Altair is on the cliffs over looking Damascus.

  • this is jesper kyd that made this soundtrack, bowdown before him

  • "CURSE HIM! Curse the Christian King and his army of infidels! They go against the will of God! And must be made to pay! Everywhere they ride, they leave suffering in their wake. They say it is a crusade, a crusade for what?! Ignorance, violence, MADNESS!"

  • @TheNewEmphinix I assassinated him cos I got so fed up of it :P

  • the over all song is a cliche of the way people think of middle eastern cities like damascus

  • Thumbs up to hear this theme in AC 3.

  • ...you could just download this with rhapsody then use windows movie maker to make this longer, then convert it to an MP3....thats what i did. i made it 3:30 long :P plus i kinda mixed it up a bit. just added a bit more epic brass to it :P

  • It's rubbish after 1:32 !

  • I wish this was longer.

  • Walking through a canyon on your horse, this music starts, and you see the great city of Damascus.

Yeah, that's probably the most epic scene in video game history.

  • @RupeeLord haha , I love the view of the city from above with that song playing

  • @RupeeLord by far, it is the epitome of "Adventure" gaming.

  • @RupeeLord agree

  • Praise the great Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn!

  • He will hurt hiself and when he does i wont help him

  • jesper kyd is my hero

  • This made Damascus' intro freakin awesome

  • i like this..nice.....

  • the 1 dislike was the preacher dude after you stab him when he protestes

  • @btyrsov funny heheheheheheeheehehehehehehehe, I wou;d dp it for like 3 hours more but im to lazy

  • @Cotif11 hell yea which game u think is better the 1st game or second 1?

  • @btyrsov both for there own reasons, 1st: Cuz' it's during the Crusades and the Investigations but its too repeditive. 2nd: Cuz' its in renneseince<<<probably spelt wrong) Italy and because it carries on the story and its just funner. R u getting Brotherhood? I already preordered it from Game Stop.

  • @Cotif11

yeah most likely hope its the best 1

  • jesper kyd for the win

  • "So comes the English king and his infidel army! They leave horrors in their wake! Saladin rides to meet him, that his barbarous acts might be avenged!" xD
