People should give God the glory for His Creation. God is a beautiful Creator and people on tv rob God ofd His glory. I hope that Christians will get into the business of filming and documenting God's creation for the purpose of giving the Lord glory
@LordJesusIlove Dude just enjoy the nostalgia and watch the friggin clip. Your pushiness is why no population ever willing volunteers to convert to Christianity.
It's NOT staged. Marty and his team sometimes would film for 2 years before completing a single episode. No other show has ever been able to get footage like they did. That's why it seems fake to everyone.
@WaltDisneyWorldBlog pbs itself found fault in some of his episodes, marty himself said "sometimes we will take a tame animal out for a walk, and if a chase develops, we will film it" a famous seen of mountain lion vs lynx that ended in death was staged and obvious to me as lynx were only reintroduced to small areas in three states in america. rareness/avoidess of such species/complete odds of being there make this scene literally impossible to witness
Qbaby Forever'ah Gonekeepitreal has got the Crip movement poppin in Virginia on face book,on the streets, and she is looking for someone to get money with. Her hustle game is of the chain, and she is getting money like it is going out of style
@fshrmn1steffes Costco has a new set with all of the DVD's plus some new extras for $28. Picked it up today and really looking forward to watching. Thought I'd let you know.
@chaosdragonlance Yep, he staged wild animals. All nature docs are shot over several months, sometimes years and before a "scene" is cut and pasted together for view. It's where "reality tv" learned how to do it.
@wolveshockeyrs You're saying they caught the prey, lured the Cougar and then said "Hey, go get him!" ? Its Dangers Encounters;it is not just Stouffer who is standing at several places simultaneously - it is a whole crew who has been filming for months just to get the perfect shots. In this video, they had numerous crew members spread out as the attack was initialized, so by doing so they could take shots from several point of views, as seen in the video. Why? To intensify the attack.
He was a hunter back in africa...he writes about it in his book Grizz....wen he raised a baby grizzly..did u get 2 c tht documentary? it was amzing ....anyway he hunted & killed so many animals...then he converted 2 the otha side !
I heard that too, lots of the old Mutual of Omaha episodes were done that way, and those old disney nature shows. somethings they did to film sequences were just plain cruel. there's nothing 'natural' about it. it is damn hard to follow animals, but that's just what you have to do, it's what you sign up for. you're just cheating if you stage everything.
I don't know about the wild america series though.
Animals are hard to find, animals are even harder to find doing something we humans perceive as interesting (worth filming). It seems as though alot of wildlife footage is staged one way or another. It does not discredit the footage, it does happen the way they stage it, its just so damn hard to follow animals long enough to get what we want to see on film.
