can anyone please help me, my pocket rocket break leavers something happened to it i just bought it, i press the right break leaver and then something happened and it lost all its tension so now my front tire is LOCKED up, and now my engine doesnt start any suggestion? i've pulled the pull start cable over 50 times doesnt even go for a second
My gold hopetech x2's were leaky out of tthe box too, they seem to be leaking from the reservoir caps (the down pointing 'flops') I havent finished the build yet so i cant comment on performance, but judging by the amount of loss im guessing they will need a bleed. Oh well, I need to fit braided hoses so its no biggie. Hope stuff still rocks.
Great of you to put the videos here. It's much more convenient watching them here than on the Hope site.
How tight should the two Torx T10 screws that hold each MC cap be? Mine are about 3 months old and are still leaking tiny amounts of fluid from the sides of the cap. Some guys mention that if it's too tight, the diaphragm will distort. Too loose and it'll leak.
It came out of the box and the plastic wrapping like that. As far as I can see, the diaphragm seems to be sitting nicely within the cap and looks healthy.

@pearlygti they're bled from the factory, but if you need to shrten hoses then I'd re-bleed.

just enough to hold it on, many people over tighten. you may have damaged the diaphragm - does it sit over the edges?

You ever removed it? Tech lever is bled by hope from the the other hole, not the caps, so shouldn't even have fluid from assembly there.
