  • Joe would have won the Thrilla had he fought smarter. He wanted it too bad, kept standing in range of Ali's punches. That's what makes this fight great, though. They both wanted it so bad. It could very much have turned out in favor of Frazier though.

  • ali is my favorite character in fight nifgt !! he`s ability in game is just look like in his true life

  • I thought Joe was the better fighter for most of this fight.

  • @loudspeaker20 but he is ugly.

  • every time i see this fight i think joes gonna win it, amazing body shots joe gave ali, and ali was taking some good shots, both gave it there all, amazing fight

  • The 3rd round was so amazing. ALI is really entertaining.

  • Frazier was smiling because he knows Muhammad Ali was overly cautious about his left from the beginning and he kept moving his left hand but Muhammad Ali punch the smile off his face, over and over. Frazier know how to defeat Ali, but Ali knows better how to defeat Frazier lol Ali is too smart for anyone in the ring, he knows how to play the game. Quintessential moment? George Foreman's defeat. That's right.

  • @GunsAndTheBeast frazier was a great champion.he knew how to get punch. frazier would beat liston and tyson. ( thats my opinion ). Sorry for my english im french.

    RIP smokin joe

Allez jean marc mormeck contre wladimir klitscho for the heavyweight champion title.. Watch this game.

  • Es increíble como pueden soportar tanto castigo, cualquier boxeador de hoy en día hubiese caído con cualquiera de esos golpes; impresionante como absorbió los golpes Ali y Fraizer de otro planeta!

  • Ali is and will always be the greatest

    Rest in peace Smokin Joe

  • 8 People think Rocky vs Ivan Drago was a real fight

  • frazier should be ashamed of this fight, he bobed his head the whole fight and ali always stood straight he is undoubtedly the greatest of all times

  • @79richardson What would you rather him to do?

  • @79richardson HEY! dont talk shit about him anymore! He was (and still is) one of the best boxers of all time! Joe is gone, and stop talk negative about him anymore

  • @adamtheboyfromdenmar easy boy! Hadn't Frazier R.I.P. won that fight over Ali, He wouldn't be known. Frazier didn' have time to warm up that title when the colossus Foreman came in and punched it off his face. Ali did a mayor feat, He went past Frazier and fought the seemingly unbeatable foreman and regained the title. He fought Frazier to prove the world He and only He is the greatest of all times

  • how come Ali used the ropes against Foreman but not against Frazier?

  • @bobbygoo9 frazier wasnt as much of a slugger as foreman. the "rope a dope" technique used on foreman tired him out because of the way he boxed. frazier liked playing inside, going against the ropes would work in fraziers advantage.

  • @thebrownchooyi oh, good point, thanks

  • Still THE GREATEST EVER!!!! LOVE U ALWAYS ALI HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUESDAY WIT "WAYMORE" TO COME

  • che incontro spettacolare. L'11a ripresa è pazzesca

  • I believe that Mr. Ali had made himself a great favor to go to Frazier's body. Anyway, a brutal and beautiful fight :)

  • Muhammad Ali was a realy champion....but in real life he was pretty fucking bastard .

  • imagine if both of frazier eyes were fully function, indeed frazier will win,RIP frazier

  • Why, Yank? Why'd you have to pull him out? He would've won.

  • @amtcle95 That wasn't Yank but Eddie Futch; Yank was long dead.

  • This is a Ali but prime in his 30s, he could take a punch, he could still move not as fast but cleverly, and whats even more great is that he can stand there with Frazier a really hard hitter and still beat him by just out manouvering and blocking, what a great man, even Tyson would fail to beat him

  • @revelation6415 Frazier was a decent puncher, but not really heavy handed. Tyson hit MUCH harder. Frazier's strength was in his relentlessness. He never stopped coming at you and throwing punches.

  • Ok...

    1. Pacquiao did NOT deserve his recent victory agains Marquez.

    2. Pacquiao is the Charlie Sheen of the boxing world.

    3. Ali would whip his ass back to the kitchen where he belongs.

  • @Trazosable lol! you know that you need to knockout the defender to win right? Marquez didn't knock him out and Pacquiao got more points because he was agressive...

  • @Trazosable Ali was a heavyweight. Pacquio is a small Welterweight.

  • Here is the art of boxing .. These are the best boxers ever seen.

    R.I.P "Smokin" Joe Frazier.

  • Bester box kampf aller zeiten

    Muhammad Ali

    Smokin Joe :D

  • @Eduardajrizaj I prefer Holyfield vs Bowe - the first fight. But to each his own. This was certainly a great fight as well.

  • @MADMAC572 haha what happened now, Pacquiao ducked mayweather again. Mayweather extended his jail time to june so he could fight pacquiao on may 5th. But pacquiao ducked him again. Here we go again. What excuse do you have now pactard?

  • Muhammad Ali got drugged

    watch?v=XWda8CLIpGQ

  • Great clash between the giants. Love both of them

  • What Ali mentioned at the end of the fight was from the heart of a great warrior He respected! RIP Smokin Joe.......Ali greatest opponent!

  • That was a great determination by Joe Frazier but the best athlete won, congratulations to both of them for that hell of a fight!!!!

  • hahaha ese muhamed ali si es fresco invitando a fraizier a que lo golpee en el 8. 41 sec era el mejor ese ali

  • haha @ 10:01 Ali looks like Elvis

  • They are almost equal and the greatest champions that I've ever seen but Ali is a little better than Joe!!!

  • RIP ''Smokin' Joe'' Frazier :((((

  • compare these fighters to the heavyweight champions today. sad, isnt it?

  • How bout this.....fuck mayweather and fuck pacquiao.. lets talk about these 2 legends instead. would have stopped this fight if u were eddie futch?.. u kno, after witnessing everythin joe went through. I wonder what was going through his head towards those last rounds..I kno one thing, he loved Joe 2 much to let it go on.

  • 59:19 haha

  • Float like a butterfly.

    Sting like a bee.

    Your hands can't hit

what your eyes can't see. ,,Muhammad Ali''

  • The reason why Frazier did not fight Norton was because the former thought he could handle Norton, going by their sparring sessions under Eddie Futch. But Norton in an interview many years after, when he and Frazier had already retired from boxing, said that he would have been willing to fight Frazier.

  • The scores at the end of the fight did not reflect the intensity of the fight, for it was really much closer: 8-5-1, 8-2-4 and 9-3-2m, in the order of ali-frazier-even. The referee Carlos Padilla's was the closest, he had it even at 5-5-1 after 11 rounds. But Ali won the last three rounds in his scorecard.

  • what are usmokin now joe,. ?

  • MUHAMMAD ALI THE GREATEST OFF ALL TIME!

    FRAIZER IS ZERO!

  • @MrLsucija Zero? Get off the crack. Frazier MADE Ali. Without a foil like Frazier, Ali is not nearly the name he is today. Frazier was an outstanding fighter.

  • @MADMAC572

NO Ali and Drazier influenced each other, Ali was a civil roghts leader but too aggresive on frazier. Ali took boxing to a whole new lev el. Frazier did too to a leseer level.

  • @UT5000 Of course they influenced each other. Profoundly. But to say that Frazier was a zero is ludicrous, which is what the original poster said.

  • @MADMAC572 I disagree, Frazier didn't make Ali. Ali was already Ali before and after Frazier. I agree that you can't mention one name without the other, that I agree with. But Ali's legacy is far more than just Frazier. Ali's biggest win in terms of boxing is His first with Liston and his most important being his shocking win over Foreman. Sure his rivalry with Frazier is big but it does not make nearly all of Ali.

  • @NyyGyro For sure Ali was a huge figure for a lot of reasons. Frazier is only one reason - but a big one. It gave Ali a foil and a platform. Some guys think if a guy is unbeaten than makes him greater, but that's not true. a fighter who loses and goes on to beat the guy who beat him has accomplished more - as long as it's not habit forming. Frazier, Norton, Foreman - those three guys really put Ali on the map.

  • @MADMAC572 I agree. Its just that to say Ali is nothing without Frazier is a little exaggerated is all. Like I said you can't say one name without the other but Ali's legacy was already fully built before Manila. People wanted him to retire right after his fight with Foreman since he had done it all and beaten everyone there was to fight at the time, that fight put Ali in grounds no one had ever reached. There's no doubt however that the Ali/Frazier trilogy is the greatest of all.

  • @MADMAC572 u sayin that frazier created Ali lol. Stand back. Ali is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!

  • @TheUSaMa1998 Ali was arguably the greatest icon in sports history. His name transcended his sport. That was due to the era he fought in, the issues that swirled around and through him... but Frazier was his biggest foil. And to be great, you have to have a foil. That's Mayweather's problem. He hasn't had that. He thinks if he wins every fight, that's more important than having that guy whom he has to overcome. Floyd doesn't get it. But Ali did.

  • @MADMAC572 once floyd beats pacquiao he will get the respect that he deserves like Ali and i have no problem putting floyd in top 5 boxers of all time next to Ali. But now adays it's not about the legacy. Floyd can go and fight sergio martinez who is another fighter almost as big as pacquiao and get his respect while all pacquiao does is cherry picks his opponents. I wouldn't even put pacquiao in the top 50 because he hasn't proved anything.

  • @324582782 This is stupid commentary. Pacquio is the ONLY - read ONLY - boxer ever to win titles in eight divisions. "Hasn't proven anything"??? Get off the crack. Floyd would lose to Martinez, there is no way he takes that fight. Martinez is too big, and has excellent hand and foot speed. Martinez hits literally twice as hard a Floyd and is very athletic. That would NEVER happen. Floyd is a small welterweight. Floyd is a very good boxer, but talk about cherry picking opponents? Get real.

  • @MADMAC572 8 weight class but who has he faced really ?

  • @324582782 Well, let's see. Let's start with Ledwaba, cause he was damn good. Jorge Julio was another excellent fighter. Marquez, three times. Barrera twice. Moralles three times. Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley... You're right, he hasn't fought anyone.

  • @MADMAC572 He fought marquez and barely won those fights and the last fight i had it as a draw or 1 point win for manny so he did not prove anything plus. Barrera is inside fighter and ofcoure the better slugger won, Morrales gave him such a bad beating in the first fight but then lost the other two. And to be honest these fighter are only good. Now oscar is a really good boxer but he was out of his prime and he had to do a catch weight, Margarito is a shitty fighter and made his name by cheatin

  • @324582782 He didn't prove anything? He fought Marquez three times. Marquez is a Hall of Famer! That doesn't prove anything? And Moralles and Barrera are only "good". They are future Hall of Famers as well. Are you crazy? Mosley fought Pacquio exactly one year after Mayweather fought him. But somehow in your mind Mayweather's achievement was better. Pacquio's only fault is that he hasn't cleaned out a division. Like Floyd, he can't claim that he's JCC or Ray Robinson.

  • @MADMAC572 Thats why i said that morrales and Barrera are the only good fighters he fought. It's a fact that pacquiao beat a fighter coming from a loss which gives you a lot of advantage (if you know boxing). Secondly when Mosley fought mayweather every one gave him a chance because of his win against margarritto but when he face pacquiao every one knew that he'll loose. Now tell me why isn't he facing Mayweather now?

  • @324582782 OK let's go b ack to square one. Barrera and Morrales weren't "good fighters". They were great fighters. Marquez was (is) also a great fighter. A fighter coming off a loss is not necessarily an easier win. That is not true. Yes, Mosley was a year older, and he was in decline, but let's not pretend that somehow DLH or Mosley were a lot better when Mayweather fought them - it's not true. How about Ledwaba? How about Julio? Not hall of famers but very, very good fighters.

  • @MADMAC572 What you are saying that a fight comming of a win doesnt matter? Wow

There is no difference when mayweather fought them?

You pactard mayweather went up to Oscar de la hoya weight and beat him. While when he fought pacquiao he drained himself down to 145 to make the fight. It's a fact that Pacquiao has fought old mosley comming of a loss, draining Oscar de la hoya, Fighting an old marquez. And Actually not even winning to marquez. there goes your pacquiao greatness:P

  • @MADMAC572 ya nagotiations are taking place so manny can get away with random blood testing again. lol

  • @324582782 So if they fight, and if Manny wins, what are you going to say then, that he must have been using PEDS?

  • @MADMAC572 for that he has to accept random blood testing which he has avoided. And why would any one think he is on PED if he accepted first time? Instead of making lame excuses like "I'm scared of needles" or "taking blood takes my power away" lol

  • @324582782 Are you paying attention? The deal is being megotiated NOW for next May. It's already in the news. Even if you conclude that Mayweather is a superior fighter who has fought superior opposition (and I don't think that's true at 147, but I do think it's true between 130 and 140) that's no reason to disparage Pacquio's very impressive accomplishments. This guy is going to the Hall of Fame.

  • Comment removed

  • @MADMAC572 For that he has to accept to random blood testing which i'm sure he won't accept to. Negotiation is basically about pacquiao getting away with random blood testing again. Why is you great fighter afraid of needles? And if you say he's not then do you accept that fight hasn't taken place because of pacquiao?

  • @324582782 Where have you been. He's already agreed to random testing up to two weeks before the fight, and testing immediately after. Given those contraints, there is no possible way he could cheat.

  • @MADMAC572 he never agreed to olympic style random blood testing, Like mosley or ortiz.

  • @324582782 Yes he has, with the stipulation that no blood is drawn within 14 days of the bout. Since there is nothing he could consume that would help him after that time frame that couldn't be detected post fight... it's a non-issue. I think the fight is going to happen. Too much money for it not to happen.

  • @324582782 Yes he has - with that one caveat. The fight is going to happen. It has to happen. Way too much money involved for it not to happen.

  • @MADMAC572 then why didn't the fight happen explain

  • @324582782 You mean why didn't it happen yet? Money Mayweather doesn't have that moniker for no reason. Floyd has been around boxing his whole life, and I am pretty sure that when he started, he made two important decisions. He was going to get a lot of money out of it, and he was going to keep his brains intact. Floyd has kept that fight marinating (hopefully not too long) understanding the longer it marinates, the more money it will bring in.

  • @MADMAC572 could be, time will tell

  • @MADMAC572 The fight hasn't happened till now simply because of drug testing argument. It's a simple fact. Where has manny pacquiao or bob arum agreed to random blood testing and signed the deal. Show me and give me proof.

  • @324582782 No, that's not correct. Manny has agree with that stipulation. Mayweather and Arum's camps are in negotiations right now (which has already been publicized) for a fight in May. Like I said, this fight didn't happen before because Mayweather thought he could make it worth more money if he waited. He understands the value of doing that. It increases anticipation and that increases gate.

  • @MADMAC572 you 100% sure they fighting on may 5th 2012?

  • @324582782 Are you kidding? Contract isn't signed yet, either man could get injured in training... Mayweather could end up in jail, the possibilities are endless. But it seems probable they will fight in May. It is in the interests of both parties that they do so.

  • @MADMAC572 so contract isn't signed yet, then why are you saying that they will fight in may 2012. They been trying to negotiate since 2009

  • @324582782 There were NO negotiations going on prior to the Marquez fight. Nor were there attempts at negotiations. There are negotiations going on now. That's the difference. It also makes a lot more sense now for Mayweather. Pacquio looked very beatable after the Marquez fight. He looks vulnerable. AND, if Pacquio or Floyd were to lose between now and when a fight is signed, huge money just fell off the table. So fighting in May makes a ton of sense.

  • @MADMAC572 no your wrong, Floyd put the offer out for may 5th before marquez fought pacquiao. Secondly theres been negotiations couple of times before that and all came to ended because pacquiao camp did not agree to random blood testing. .

  • @324582782 No he did not. He mentioned that as a possible date, but there were no negotiations going on prior to the Marquez fight. It ain't about the drug testing. Get it out of your head. That was a ploy. It's about money. It's always about money. That's why it's called prize fighting and that's why Floyd calls himself "money Mayweather".

  • @MADMAC572 he called out pacquiao for may 5th 2012 before pacquiao marquez happened. Why would he call out pacquiao because obviously he wants to fight him and that shows that he did not wait for pacquiao to look bad. Secondly If the fights happen and pacquiao agrees to random blood testing then i will believe what your saying.

  • @MADMAC572 Mosley again out of prime boxer who just took the fight for pay day. And why does pacquiao goes to fight out of prime fighters? instead of fighting better oponents. If pacquiao really had to go up in weight to prove something then why not fight Martinez. Truth is that all of his fights were made for him to win except for barrera and morrales who were actually good fighters. Other than that pacquiao has cherry picked his way to fame.

  • @324582782 And right now negotiations are on for Floyd and Manny to fight in May...

  • Respond to this video... And Floyd will NEVER be respected like Ali was. Ali wasn't respected just because he was an outstanding boxer. Respect for Ali came because of his politics, because of his courage, because of willingness to fight through wars. Floyd has no discernible politics, never been through even one ring war, and has the social skills of a barbary ape. Greatness comes from more than just boxing ability.

  • @MADMAC572 thats why i said floyd will be ranked next to ali as a boxer if he beats pacquiao or sergio cuz then there wont be anyone to fight to prove himself but for that pacquiao has to agree to random blood testing:P

  • @324582782

Well, he's NEVER going to be compared to guys like JCC or Sugar Ray Robinson because he just doesn't fight enough. His skill level is extremely high, but he's never cleaned out even a single division he's fought in. Even Pacquio, who's remarkable in certain ways, hasn't done what those guys did. And there is no way Mayweather even fights Sergio. He's too big, too strong. If he were slow and could be outboxed, that would be one thing. But he's not. He's very athletic.

  • @324582782 get real bro.

  • @kristiandelacruz27 I'm real people just don't have any information regarding this topic

  • @MADMAC572 but look at Marciano: he was undefeated. and while i don't really like Mayweather, if he can keep up his record, he could go down in history as one of the best welterweights of all time.

  • @TheARguy1 Let's look at Marciano. No serious boxing pundits rate him amongst the greatest of all time. He's in some top tens, but he's ALWAYS considered behind Louis, Ali, Holmes, Lewis, Holyfield and the Vitali Klitschko. That's because he didn't have that many title fights and his quality of opposition was decent but not great (not all his fault to be sure). Have you EVER seen Marciano in an all time top ten P4P list? Floyd doesn't fight enough and at welter quality isn't all that.

  • @TheARguy1 Greatnes is not found in not losing. The generally agreed greatest fighter of all time lost 19 times. He lost his first fight when he was 22. He lost fights in his prime. But he fought ALL THE TIME. He beat everyone. He cleaned out a division full of tremendous fighters. Not losing means little when you fight once a year.

  • @MADMAC572

"Show me a fighter who has never lost and I'll show you a fighter who has never fought anybody."

  • @MADMAC572 Thats very true but Norton was a bigger threat to Ali than Frazier was

  • @MADMAC572

Floyd Mayweather Jr.= Mason Dixon(from Rocky Balboa movie) XD

  • @MADMAC572 Muhammad Ali is still alive my friend but i badly miss joe frazier :(

  • @MADMAC572 Now what do you have to say. Pacquiao is indeed ducking mayweather now. It's so obvious. Pacquiao camp did not sign for may 5th date. Are you still going to say that pacquiao is not ducking mayweather? When it's so obvious?

  • @324582782 Dude, look, prize fighters don't "duck" other prize fighters. It doesn't work that way. They are not afraid in the way that normal people are. These guys are fighters. It's ALWAYS, at the end of the day, about money. Arum doesn't want the fight on 5 May, he wants it for the last week in May. That's because a new 45,000 seat venue is opening which will generate a live gate of 30 million dollars. People who say it's about "fear" are being ridiculous.

  • @MADMAC572 okay hope you are right. But prize fighters do duck other prize fighters, Remember boxing is a business and they sometimes do duck other figher when they fear losing or a smaller pay day.

  • @324582782 Fighters do not. Absolutely not. It is not in the mindset of a fighter to do that. His management team, perhaps. But not a fighter. I was an amateur fighter, and yet even now, at the age of 50, although I know I would have no chance of even hitting Floyd with a clean punch, my emotions tell me I could. I'd take the fight and go in thinking I could win. That's the way fighters are psychlogically built. On rare occassion, they get intimidated as they enter the ring.

  • @MADMAC572 Exactly intimidation can turn into not wanting to fight that fighter. I can give you many example of pro fighters ducking fighters because it could be bad for there career. Now being scared doesn't have to do with losing. It usually has to do with what would happen to them if they lose. Things such as reputation, position in society, Money and countless things. Many fighters ducked Tyson, Lennox lewis and recently Timothy Bradley refused to fight khan.

  • @324582782 Fighters are almost never intimidated until they actually get in the ring and discover for real they can't solve the problem in front of them. Then they turn defensive. The number of guys, though, that I've seen doing a Michael Spinks is miniscule. Pacquio and Mayweather are not in that crowd. Roach thinks Mayweather is so afraid to lose the "0" in his record he won't fight. I don't agree. I think he's just building the hype to maximize payday. It's about money.

  • @324582782 Even if Pacquio lost to Mayweather, Mayweather most definitely isnt' going to stop him, and probably won't put him down. So Pacquio's rep is not going to take some sort of beating. So he isn't "afraid" either. On top of that, his bank account will be TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars fatter. No - nobody is ducking anyone here. It's all about the money.

  • @MADMAC572 It is about the money if they fight in may 5th, If not then manny is indeed ducking him. And what do you mean by fighters don't duck anyone? I have been in the ring several times and probably more than you so don't tell me that fighter's don't get intimidated. What do you mean by rep is not going down? Whenever pacquiao's name is mentioned, It's cuz of Floyd. Every phillipino in the world talks about this fight. His alpha male image will be ruined once he loses to floyd.

  • @324582782 Did Ali's Alpha male image suffer when he lost to Frazier? Did Holyfield's image suffer when he lost to Bowe? Did Louis' image suffer when he lost to Schmelling? Did Leonard's image suffer when he lost to Duran? Did Robinson 's image suffer when he lost to LaMotta? With VERY FEW exceptions, prize fighters lose fights. And with no exception, those who never lost are second guessed on guys they didn't fight. Why do they fight? FOR MONEY. You don't duck 50 mil. EVER.

  • @MADMAC572 Yes all of there image did suffer, But you can't bring Ali into this because he did fight and beat frazier again three times. Lamotta image suffered, holyfield image suffered. And leonard's image suffered too. If they overcame those fights they would be known as GOAT right now.

  • @324582782 Wrong, wrong, wrong. LaMotta lost five of six to Ray Robinson - he's still a boxing legend for his toughness. Holyfield is a legend. Leonard is a legend. Show me a fighter who never lost, and I'll show you a fighter who didn't fight anybody. Guys who take on all comers are guys who are respected. VERY RARE is the guy who never loses, and the only guy in that category generally considered the best in his weight class is Calzaghe.

  • @MADMAC572 They are boxing legends but Robinson will always be a better fighter than Lamotta because he beat him, Holyfield is a great fighter but James toney will always be known as the guy who embarrassed holyfield and then knocked him out. Pacquiao loss has nothing to do with him being great or not, It will just show that he's no different than any other fighter that fought may weather.

  • @324582782 IF LaMotta had won one time (he won the first fight) and then never agreed to a rematch, his legacy would be less than what it is today. Greatness is not found in having a zero on the back end of your record.

  • @324582782 If Mayweather loses to Pacquio, it's not like he's going to suddenly be a goat. And if Pacquio loses to Mayweather, he's not suddenly a bum. Only idiots who don't understand the sport think that because a guy has never lost that makes him great. Calzaghe never lost, but he also never fought Ottke, Rocchigiani, Michalzcewski and fought RJJ when Roy was toast. In the last five yearsm, had Mayweather fought Berto, Cotto, Margarito, Pacquio, etc he'd have lost.

  • @324582782 And that's true for all fighters in all divisions. True greatness, the elite of elite, clean divisions completely out. They fight everyone, and they fight often. Roy Robinson lost plenty of fights even in his best years. He lost 19 fights and had 6 draws, and yet no true boxing expert considers Mayweather anything close to Robinson. Even Roger, Floyd's trainer, says Robinson was greater.

  • @MADMAC572 As great as Ali is. One has to agree that even in his prime he could be hit. His style had many flaws, He didn't fight like how a boxer should fight. Holyfield is a great fighter but he couldn't do much against a defensive fighter like Toney. James toney basically embarrassed him round after round and then knocked him out. Lamotta has alot of heart but no defense and hes famous cuz of his great chin. My point is that all of these fighters were great but still had flaws

  • @324582782 Floyd can be hit. Judah hit him plenty of times. So did Castillo in their first fight. Mosley cracked him in the second round. I think Floyd is probably among the best defensive fighter of all time though. Floyd certainly compares well with Whitaker, Locche, RJJ, Pep, Ricardo Lopez and a few others. Is he a better defensive fighter than those guys? He's in their class for sure. Lopez was probably a better all around fighter than Mayweather, BUT, he didn't grow like Floyd.

  • @MADMAC572 You do know that floyd was injured in his first fight against Castillo? But he still managed to be victorious and gave him a rematch 6 months after and beat him easy. Judah only hit him first 2 rounds and that's because floyd was figuring him out and once he figured him it was all over.

  • @324582782 Judah gave him a hard time over the first six rounds actually. After that, Judah did what he always did. He faded. Floyd did have a shoulder problem that bothered him, but he lost the fight in the eyes of most observers. If you are going to use the arguement that Whitaker really beat Chavez (most people thought so) then you have to accept the arguement Castillo won the first fight. No fighter is unbeatable. Floyd hasn't lost because he doesn't fight.

  • @MADMAC572 You didn't really explain to me about ducking. You said name me who ducked who and ill give you a good reason why it wasn't ducking, Since you claimed there is no ducking in boxing. You clearly can't support your opinions with any proof or reason.

  • @324582782 Floyd has a flaw - he has no power. And he takes no risks, which means that against a strong pressure fighter, he's going to have a hard time. He hasn't fought a strong pressure fighter because he doesn't want to deal with that style. I'm not saying he couldn't, but he wouldn't like it. Floyd likes to dictate pace with his jab, but if he fights a guy who walks through that, that's a problem for Floyd.

  • @MADMAC572 Few pounds don't make a difference, Floyd did not beat marquez because of his power but because of his skill, Even if marquez weighed 160 that night, He would still lose to floyd. You can't beat what you can't hit. Floyd basically gave him a boxing lesson for 12 rounds. You think if marquez weighed more he would magically get better as a boxer?

    Things don't work like this

  • @MADMAC572 Did i not give you example of fighters ducking other fighters? Some of them even gave up there title just so they could avoid the fight. Every boxing fan knows this.

  • @324582782 Show me a single example and I'll show you a monetary motive.

  • @MADMAC572 timothy bradley ducking Amir khan

    Amir khan ducking Brediss prescott

    Riddick Bowe ducking lennox lewis

Mike tyson ducking lennox lewis in 1996

    Mike tyson ducking George Foreman

    Foreman ducked larry holmes

Calzaghe ducked Bernerd hopkins for a rematch by retiring

etc etc etc. I can go on and on.

  • @324582782 This is ridiculous. Every time a fight doesn't happen doesn't mean one fighter is ducking another. The money has to be right, the location has to be right, both fighters have to be healthy - a lot of factors are involved and none of them have to do with fear. Each one of the above has explanations that have nothing to do with "ducking". Certainly Pacquio and Mayweather are not "ducking" each other.

  • @MADMAC572 you said you'll give me an explaination about all these ducking, As you claimed fighters don't duck any one. So stop saying its riduculous as you said that you will give me an explanation why these fights did not happen that are based on proof. I gave you solid examples and these are proofs. These fights could be made but one of these fighters chose not to fight. This is called ducking.

  • @324582782 Or both of them chose not to fight. You never know the details of a negotiation. Only the participants know. But it almost always comes down to one thing - and Floyd himself has said this many times. It's about the MONEY. Who gets what.

  • @MADMAC572 Show you a fighter that never had a defeat? One word for you Floyd Mayweather jr.

  • @324582782 Still active - hasn't fought enough. Robinson won over 100 fights before his first loss. Chavez had 29 title defenses before his first loss. If Floyd wants to be compared to guys like this, he has to fight more and he has to clean out a division. If you don't do that, stop beating your chest. And you stop waving his flag. He doesn't do enough. Period, end of story.

  • @MADMAC572 Robinson robinson robinson that's the best response every floyd hater has. Robinson had no defense what so ever, His best defense was his offence. I don't want to disrespect robinson but no way that with his level of skill he can beat fighters of today. But he was great of his era so let him stay in his era instead of bringing him up.

  • @324582782 That's because Floyd, and his fan base (I'm not a Floyd hater - I don't buy into unbeatable because I know in boxing that doesn't exist), likes to beat his chest about how his the greatest of all time. Well, if you want to be considered the greatest of all time, you got to do what they did. And Floyd's Uncle Roger would disagree with you vehemently. And that's Floyd's TRAINER. He says Robinson was a more complete fighter.

  • @324582782 Calzaghe never lost either. Marciano was 49-0. There are guys who don't lose. But Marciano is NEVER rated as the best heavyweight of all time. Calzaghe fought RJJ when Roy was done, didn't fight Michalzewski and won titles in two divisions very close to each other. He beat a toast RJJ, but there is no doubt RJJ was a much more accomplished fighter. Greatness is measured by accomplishment, not ability. Ability unused is wasted.

  • @MADMAC572 Exactly so according to you Calzaghe didn't fight Michalzewski which means he ducked him. Floyd never ducked any one, In his recent come back he fought the toughest oponent who weighed 165 pound and was controlling the fight, While manny fights 35+ fighters

  • @324582782 Which toughest opponents would those be? Baldomir. Did you see what Pacquio did to his twin, Margarito? Put Floyd in the ring with a real middleweight in Martinez and he'll get killed. Floyd never "ducked" anyone. Well, maybe not, but he hasn't fought Berto, Pacquio, Clottey and now he has Bradley and Khan waiting in the wings. What about Alvarez? I mean, there are big names near the division - if he fought five times a year, he could be great.

  • @MADMAC572 Floyd would go and whoop martinez ass too if they ever fought, I'm sure even pacquiao would beat Martinez. Martinez is a good fighter with great reflexes but he is not an extra ordinary fighter. He has many flaws and he'll loose when he fights a real boxing technician.

  • @MADMAC572 Floyd fought hatton when he was defeated, Fought ortiz comming off a great win, Fought mosley after he demolished Margaritto, Fought oscar de la hoya in his own weight class, what are you talking about they weren't tough fighters? They all tried putting pressure on Floyd but failed. I dunno what you are talking about. He has faced more pressure fighters than boxers.

  • @MADMAC572 Berto just lost a fight to ortiz, He doesn't deserve the fight yet

Clottey has to prove that he deserves a fight with mayweather

Khan just lost a fight to peterson, he has to beat him first. Come to 147 and fight couple of fighters to prove that he deserves a shot.

You can't just say that he should fight them, These fighters do not deserve to fight mayweather yet and they have all been lost recently. Floyd only fights fighters comming off impressive win.

  • @324582782 And no, Calzaghe didn't duck Michalzcewski. He wasn't going to take that fight in Germany, Dariusz wasn't going to take it in England. Neither camp would agree on venue. It came down to money and venue selection. Same for Ottke. The Calzaghe camp really should have taken a fight with RJJ in the States about five years before he did. But they wanted the fight in England and RJJ (who in your world ducked Michalzcewski) would not fight there.

  • @MADMAC572 The fight with Pacquio will happen in November. It's a shame that it couldn't happen now, but you are ignoring Mayweather saying no to a 50-50 split (He talks about how Pacquio will earn more than ever, well so would Mayweather, and by a wide margin). So far it's Floyd constantly stating terms for the fight, money split, drug testing, weight... He thinks it's the Floyd Mayweather show. He's going to have to be a little more realistic to make the fight.

  • @MADMAC572 Every one knows that chavez lost to pernell whitaker. But they didn't give whitaker a decision. Now imagine mayweather fighting chavez who's defense is just as good as whitaker but is taller, better counter puncher. It'll be an embarassment for chavez, Mayweather would make him miss and make pay all night long. Easy win for floyd. Saying that lamotta could beat floyd is like saying Maidana can beat floyd because of his chin, Its not chin but skill. You are delusional .

  • @324582782 I agree I thought Whitaker won that fight too. Just as I thought Castillo won his first fight with Floyd. MAYBE Mayweather would have beaten Chavez, but Pernell was a slicker defensive fighter (not as good a puncher though). Floyd most certainly has NEVER fought a pressure fighter resembling Chavez. It's the kind of fighter likely to trouble him because he would not be able to dictate the pace. BUT, Floyd is naturally bigger than Chavez, so I'd lean towards Floyd.

  • @324582782 But that doesn't matter. Again, "skills" count for exactly nothing in evaluating legacy. Nothing. What you do is what counts. He didn't fight long enough at lightweight, and at welter we have one fight with the rugged but limited Baldomir, a fight with Marquez outside his weight class, a fight with Hatton, who never won a fight over 140, and a fight with Ortiz - the only legitimate welterweight stud in the crop. And that's it. At welter he is ordinary.

  • @MADMAC572 Let out Mosley, which was a good win, but Mosley was getting up there in years.

  • @MADMAC572 On the other side Floyd mayweather basically makes no mistake what so ever. Not only is he fast, He also has something all these other great fighters didn't have and that is boxing skill. Just go and watch mayweather's fight to see where he makes mistake and you'll see that mayweather is probably the most flawless fighter that has ever set foot in ring. he can go in against great fighters and make them look ordinary that's why he dont need to get into any war like Ali etc

  • @324582782 Floyd is WAY too defensive. Major flaw. Floyd is lucky there is nobody fighting like LaMotta right now, because that would be trouble for him. A guy he can't hurt, who is relentlessly punching anything and everything in front of him. Floyd is also not heavy handed. But Floyd's biggest flaw, by FAR, is he doesn't fight enough. It ain't about your "skills" or about ability, it's about what you actually do. And Floyd doesn't do enough.

  • @MADMAC572 I agree floyd doesn't fight alot, But It's only now that he fights less and it's because of money. On his way to top he fought many good fighters and made them look ordinary. His flaw is his defense? His major weapon is his defense, accuracy and counter punching. It doesn't matter how less he hits because everytime he punches he hits you unlike other fighters.

  • @324582782 Floyd fought some good fighters at lightweight. I thought he lost the first Castillo fight, but the true mark of greatness is to lose a fight and come back and win the rematch. Floyd fought a rematch there (his only one) because deep down he knew he lost that fight. But that's not a big deal. Had he stayed at lightweight, beaten Marquez at that weight and beaten Moralles, Pacquio and Diaz, even if lost one fight, his legacy would FAR exceed what it is now.

  • @324582782 And Robinson had more ability than Floyd, principally because as Roger said, Robinson hit twice as hard. Robinson beat a series of truly GREAT middleweights. Floyd would get KOed if he fought Sergio Martinez. You are obviously buying into the "Floyd can't be beaten" nonsense, but unbeatable in boxing doesn't exist. Styles make fights. He fights enough guys, he'll lose. He only fights once a year. It's a joke.

  • @324582782 By the time Khan was ready for a rematch, Prescott had deteriorated a lot. Prescott would get clobbered and it's not a good money fight either. Bowe was done after the three Holyfield fights. Prior to that, made no economic sense. Tyson fought Lewis - Tyson never ducked anyone. Foreman fight didn't happen because the money couldn't be made. Foreman retired before a fight with Holmes could be made. All these "ducking" examples are based on money and venue.

  • @MADMAC572 khan was ready for a rematch? hold on hold on, Brediss prescott is still asking for a rematch to this day and Amir khan hasn't given him a chance. Mind you but that fight will give khan the biggest pay day of his fight, Every one wants to see this fight in Europe and in America. I don't know how you can say it wont be a good money fight. Secondly yes Tyson did duck Lewis when tyson had to give lewis a title shot but instead he gave lennox money to back off its all facts.

  • @MADMAC572 Foreman retired before the fight could be made? That's called ducking. Judah did not give floyd a hard time for first 6 rounds, Go watch the fight, floyd was in control after the 2nd round and he won every round. I scored the mayweather fight as well, It was tough to score but i did give mayweather the fight by 1 point.

  • @MADMAC572 This just shows that you don't really follow boxing or you would know that fighters duck other fighters all the time. It's nothing new to the sport of boxing.

  • @324582782 I was a boxer for ten years and I have followed the sport all of my adult life. I'm 50. I know boxing. Fighters don't duck other fighters. It's not in their makeup. Their management team might. But fighters don't. People who think this way aren't fighters themselves.

  • fucking ali joe is best

  • Rip joe frazier

This has got to be the best event in sports history ali moves so swiftly the only thing that would make this fight better would be a win by K.O.
