Tengo que hacer una puntualización, y es que el director de la DGT, no se llama PEPE, si no PERA (en catalán; en castellano Pedro), como le pusieron de nombre al RENAULT 14 en Francia, LA PERA.

It's quite generous but possible, I've seen a 180km/h on a renault 16 ts when I was young. But renault loves to scale generously their cars at this time (renault 4, 160km/h....impossible with the basic model)

@mipmipmipmipmip I bought a 14TS new in 1979. My first new car, and ran it in for 6 miles, before I just had to thrash it. WOW! fantastic handleing, and once loose the engine would touche the red line at 114mph, with the valves bouncing loaded up with 5 people, and weekend luggage.
Once such a common site on the roads, they are now completely extinct in the UK.

A crappy, but revolutionary car. Note the rather generous scales for rpm and speed on 0:48. 180 in a renault 14?
