Ok,in Spain if you go to Galicia and you speak portuguese you're alright, but if you go to Catalunha it's totally diferent, they are in the same country but they speak completely diferent.

The Native tongue for this two languges is Latim that became later the Gallego-Portuguese and then for the comtemporary portuguese.
