  • Was that Jimmy's Telecaster you were playing? He had a really nice one, no serial number on it, and it was in the original tweed case.

    The playing is superb. Did you ever hear him play jazz? He came over to the Franklin Hotel in Chapel Hill one night, and I thought Jim Hall was sitting next to the piano. Such feeling. Thank you for capturing a rare performance.

  • @MrRickkeena The tele is mine. He didn't play his with me. Jim knew I liked classic rock and blues, so we only jammed one jazz song. Jimmy was really into jazz , but his roots were in rock and roll. We had alot of fun playing this and the other videos I have posted. Thanks for the commments !
