I know exactly where you are coming from! I had a very bad break-up with a boyfriend too, it was almost a year ago, and I am still very scarred too. People don't really understand that much, so it's nice to see someone who does! I've made a lot of progress since my whole break-up too, so I am proud of that although it was a rough road that I NEVER want to travel again (although I probably will, you know, because i'm only 18 and all)

Thank you, it was a big change in my life to go from that to this. In fact I still show signs of a lot of scars. I always prepare for David to do/say something that in my past relationship he would've done but this is not that relationship, this is David and David is a good man.

I have never felt this safe.

In the end I'm glad and sad that it happened. Sad that I am so scarred that I can't always love David the way I want to. But glad because I can be proud of getting through it.

In Canada women initiate violence over 50% of the time. I was married to such a person. 7 years of trying to deal with her screaming , spitting, lying and screwing around. Finally all my feelings for her fell away and I walked and never looked back. There a so many fucked up people out there, both men and women. If someone really hurts you forget forgiving, forget love and walk...do not marry such a person. Run from assholes and run from bitches. Show personal worth.
