@saintswhodat23 I was always coached to aim below the numbers in a blind-sided opportunity (because every time a defender sees a vulnerable ball carrier, we tend to get overzealous and not tackle properly - so the point of aiming below the numbers is so that you wrap up and take his legs for a guaranteed tackler). Everyone has their own techniques, that's just mine. Anyway, I know what you're saying...but in the end, a pro like Samuel (who was coached by Belichick ) should know better.

@saintswhodat23 I play safety, and that is NOT how to tackle. If you actually played football, you'd know that by not wrapping up and lunging yourself (head first, or forearm), all you end up doing is allowing the ball carrier to stay on his feet due to your shitty technique, or worse (which happened to me before) YOU get a head/shoulder/arm injury by not using proper technique. Samuel MAY know how to tackle, but doesn't because he's comfortable doing what he's never been penalized for.
