For the first nearly full minute of this match, Misty is being trashed. Slammed down at 00:44 she struggles to even get up at 00:53!!! Imagine if the BV dropped a backbreaker on her instead of going top rope? Or even just kept putting the boots to her = new NWA champ, Black Venus!

@terry1terry2001, she had ti miss to make tha ction interesting, in the old days even the jobbers got to show off some of their skills. Misty Blue was certainly not one so he was prefered as a winning heroine than to lose to Jean Kinkaid. I understand that she passed away recently maybe a year or two ago, RIP Black venus.

How did Ric Flair refer to Misty (or "that young lady" as Jim Ross says)? Also, what year was this (I'm thinking maybe 1987 or '88 since this is "NWA" and not "WCW")? And I have to say this might be my favorite Misty Blue leotard with the criss-cross straps. If I didn't know any better, I'd almost swear I was watching Candi Devine.
