  • Rabies is a demonic lie to give rear. Satan gives fear, and God give love, and truth. Truth will never give fear. Fear causes humans to give Mercury ,and formaldehyde to humans, and pets calling it good. In California, and elsewhere those vaccinations should be illegal to give to any living thing, and that should occur right now. Want heath, and to avoid many things? upcspine U,C,S, care practitioners in your state. Do this right now. Not waiting for a problem to develop is best.

  • They should go and neuter all the male dogs they can find. And for the bitches? There are hormone implants for humans, so, make the same for dogs, that should be less expensive and time consuming than to sterilise thousands of bitches.

  • what causes a dog to have a rabies virus? and i was bitten by a dog when i was a kid maybe 8-10 years old. which is didn't notice that i was bitten. i don't know why i didn't felt it. but now i'm 23 years old. is it possible that i still have that virus? coz they say that sometimes rabies takes a year/s for the symptoms to show.

  • @SuperAyiayi Rabies is passed from one warm blooded animal to another by bite or scratch. It is extremely unlikely that you contracted the disease from the animal that bit you 13 years ago. Normal incubation period is a matter of days or weeks to a few months. Relax !

  • @SuperAyiayi Depends on where you live, in the US and most of Europe, Rabies has not been seen in the dog population in decades. To develop symptoms 10+ years after you've been bitten is almost unheard of.

  • string up the strays and shoot them.

  • they can't kill dogs, but CAN kill drug users by the dozens. where's the logic?

  • Sounds like there's an opportunity here for another export product for Thailand. They supply the United States a HUGE amount of pineapples... soooooo... why not put the excessive number of dogs on the same boat, swing by Mexico first, and sell the dogs to them? Theyre a food source there. FACT.

  • they should just send them strays to china, they will love it and happy long time.

  • Buddhist principles are all well and good, but not culling these dogs does nobody any favours.

People need educating about the cost of having a pet dog to prevent them getting abondoned.

  • Maybe chihuahuas are safe pets, but dogs are not cool any more for me.

  • Thats the land of dogs

  • that is so sad i just want to go and look after those dogs, we should be putting humans down instead of dogs anyway

  • yeah "because they are cute and they look sad"

what can you do if a dog has rabies? nothing. put them on loose? no.

  • This is shocking. America and Europe are so far ahead of the rest of the world.

  • Once you were bited by a dog with rabies how many days do you have of life.?

  • After the onset of neurological symptoms death can occur with 48 hours.

  • @nnnnnn7678 - rabies can stay in your system for a LONG time undetected, as far as I know. When the symptoms appear, it is too late for humans. Couple of days left, horrible death.

  • @sarahgwenyth The only solution is kill all dogs.? Right..

  • @nnnnnn7678 Not really, bats and monkeys are major carriers in asia as well, as far as I know.

  • @nnnnnn7678 YES!

  • he has boobs..

  • whoa only one??

  • lol its his middle finger......would have been funny the first time the nurse and the guy met....nurse:which finger did the dog bite??.Guy :this one!.....SLAP!!

  • Rabies victim's nerves are very sensitive, every sound they hear hurts in their ears, every touch feels like a knife-stabbing them.. I guess what im trying to say is.... DONT GET RABIES

  • i was bit by a soi dog in Chiang Mai last year. Did not see it coming. Just ran up and bit me. Had to go to the hospital every 3 days for 5 visits and get a needle. I think they bite Farang more than Thais

  • Take a look at Agony Bag "Rabies is a Killer" video

  • Aww the dogs face at 1:09,, it lookkks scared :L

  • OMG you are so right i feel so bad for the dogs

  • honestly we need more dog shelters like that...i mean where i live stray dogs go to the temples and the munk feeds them...

  • Not just dog shelters, but spay/neuter programs to go along with it.

  • Need more dog shelters? There is more dog shelters than where wifes get beaten up and go to a shelter to be safe!

  • People this is a serious probrem

  • wow like the game left4dead

  • Yeah, but rabies in real life is serious.

  • Yeah, rabies is a nerological disease, it effects the brain and spinal cord. It causes you to go into a state of panic, hydrophobia, and hallucinations before it kills you. Brain neron failure basicly. Its a bad way to die.

  • @pbrskater26 Is there a good way to die? There are bad ways to die, and there are worse ways to die, like rabies

  • Your opinion has no fucking logic to it at all.

  • Well i live in thailand and i have seen pickup trucks full of dogs traded for a bucket!! all going to the meatmarket.

Yes nothern thais eat them by the dozen, aparently they torture them first to release idrenalyn into the blood as it makes the meet more tender.

So where is the budasm there? fucking hate these people.

  • It seems more like dogeatism to me.:-)

  • omg he looks like my thu! xD

  • I love Buddha its such a peaceful religion its a problem humans have caused we need to step up dogs cant vaccinate themselves!! They need to vaccinate all the dogs the strays too!!Its awesome work that guys doing!!

  • Poor Dogs.

Humans are the cause of most diseases.

  • I think you should marry a dog and be a dog too ?

  • I think u need to get a life buddy!!!!!!!!!

  • They really are I totally agree!!

  • too bad rabies didn't originate in humans.

  • You mean to tell that the rabies virus is similar to the "rage virus" in 28 days later?

I heard about another virus that is similar to rabies called Jungle Madness.

  • thats what i thought by the way thats a awsome film

  • what does rabies do to you?

  • Well, it kills you, in short. Often, before death, it sends you bonkers; you suffer hydrophobea, hallucinations and extreme muscular pain. As well as encephalitis.

  • makes you a zombie..or the closest thing to it

  • they should just send those dogs to china - they´ll be happy .........:)

  • .. i wonder what the PETA people think :S they'd probably say kill the strays but humainly

  • If feel in countries where money isn't so easy to access they should just kill the strays to cut down on the populations, and use the bodies to fertilize farm land.

I know its not a "win-win" but you have to cut your losses and make a positive out of a negative.

  • In many places they do cull the strays. In the past, entire villages have killed not only the strays, but also pets in order to attempt to curb an incursion.

  • hmmm, you say rabies can easily be treated, and it can easily be deadly too

  • Rabies can be relatively easily vaccinated for. Treatment is not possible. It is REALLY, Really fatal, though immunization is pretty effective in preventing it from taking hold.

  • you say treatment is not possible, but it can be stopped twith vaccination , is that not treatment, and amputation too off the bitten limb

  • Vaccination is not treatment, it's prevention. And as for amputation... I'd agree that it's treatment, but it's also an very extreme measure.

  • "Vaccination" is to prevent rabies infection. Without vaccination, the victim will be infected by rabies after incubation period. Then there's no more "treatment".

  • Allowing millions of stray dogs to roam freely on the streets is a really stupid thing to do. I'm from Romania and recently our stupid Parliament passed a law which forbids the killing of stray dogs. I hope that this year, after the general elections, the Parliament will be changed and this senseless law abolished.

  • The news in the US never covers stuff like this. Thank you for this report! In addition to vaccination, spay-neuter programs need to be created. It will be interesting to see how well Thailand progresses with this problem if they do not resort to mass euthanasia like developed countries typically do.

  • wow, im suprised they arent eating the dogs

  • check out the nurse...

  • Yeah she was pretty.

  • what bout Canada?is there a risk in Canada??

  • no. stop over reacting. rabies is extremely rare in the west and can easily be treated.

  • Rabies is NOT that rare in the US. Unless you mean the western US, and even then, is not that rare. It's treatable if, and only if, you vaccinate within days of being bitten by a suspected rabid animal. If untreated, it's really, really fatal.

  • not so easily treated, if the bite is on the head , the infection travels soon to the brain, when it has reached to there , then it is untreatable. also if the patiend dont know about the rabies risk, and doesnt go to a doctor, after the bite, then its too late when he gets symptoms, untreatable. as far as I know.

  • Thay`s true, orangestoneface. The virus travels by fast axoplasmic flow anyway, and normally the closer the bite is to the head, the shorter the incubation period.

  • Should see the UK, they have a 3 week quarantine on any animals coming over from aborad to stop rabies lol

  • In Hawaii we have a 3 month quarantine on any animals coming in from abroad to stop rabies, Seriously, and we also don't have snakes here.

  • we have the same problem in all around mexico but here the local governements don't take any action against this problem.

    Good report!
