@glenr649 i use good quality air arms diabolo domehead pellets. it all depends on which pellet your rifle "likes". i would recommend though that, whatever brand you use, use domehead or hollow point pellets as they fly with more accuracy and your bound to get a quick kill with good penetration. ( pointed pellets give less accuracy but more penetration)
yeah so try various brands and see which ones work with your rifle in particular.

@glenr649 it can be tough trying to get land to shoot on. i started shootng when i was around 8 and i'm 15. i started just going up to farmhouses or landowners or phoning around to find a good location. it really paid off. but without really knowing if you live in a built up area i can't suggest anything. yellow pages online is a good place to look for farms to contact. and if you are planning going in person to ask for permission to hunt on someones land, do'nt go in full camo with your gun.

@eat4peace There are wetlands on the other side of the fence but they are protected by law which is why I don't video or hunt there. I've seen coyote, foxes and recently weasels in the area so I believe the rabbits come into the yard to flee the predators and feed on the vegetables in my garden. i shot a rabbit in the head with a crosman 760 and a beeman hollow point. it just fell over. ill never shoot another rabbit. just pest birds like crows or pigeons.

Nice shot. I've been impressed by airguns, even the cheapy ones.
I bought a Daisy 880 for $35, threw a $40 3-9x40 scope on it, and I can put .177cal pellets consistently within a 1/4" group at 50 yards (with no wind and a rest for the gun, of course) with it. I'm blown away at how consistent and accurate it is.
For fun I stick yellow pencils in the ground at varying ranges, and try to snap 'em in half with a single shot using wadcutters.
iaccidently killed my first animal with a pllet gun this summer. it was a big rabbit, and i pumped the gin like 3 times and shot at it to scare it. i even had to point the gun up a little..i was suprised when the rabbit justjumped up, did a flip, and plopped dead...dos that mean it was a headshot? i never told nyone lol
I got one with my 12 gauge yesterday, unfortunately you can't go hunting with anything but a shotgun at E.E. Wilson, so I didn't get to use a .22, had it for dinner tonight and even though half of it was missing, it was delicious.

@shield400 A real hunter would appreciate this. A shooter takes the shot at 100 yards with a sniper rifle. A hunter takes the shot at 5 yards with a slingshot. So if Telin09 isn't a hunter then he should say so. Also, I'd like to see a rabbit get shot with anything and not move afterwards. well in most farms, farms get invested with rabbits, foxes, squirrels and rodents so they call up pest control experts who then hunt and kill the animals which are destroying their business. plus this guy is hunting for food, not for fun. is okay to have cows be slaughtered in conentration camps or take chickens and turkeys baby eggs away from them so you can have an omelet? lol

Were you using lead pellets? Can you get poisoned from eating something you shot with a lead pellet? Sorry, I'm just wondering, I'm not that smart when it comes to cooking or eating small game like this.

Nice shot. I've been impressed by airguns, even the cheapy ones.
I bought a Daisy 880 for $35, threw a $40 3-9x40 scope on it, and I can put .177cal pellets consistently within a 1/4" group at 50 yards (with no wind and a rest for the gun, of course) with it. I'm blown away at how consistent and accurate it is.
For fun I stick yellow pencils in the ground at varying ranges, and try to snap 'em in half with a single shot using wadcutters.

iaccidently killed my first animal with a pllet gun this summer. it was a big rabbit, and i pumped the gin like 3 times and shot at it to scare it. i even had to point the gun up a little..i was suprised when the rabbit justjumped up, did a flip, and plopped dead...dos that mean it was a headshot? i never told nyone lol

I got one with my 12 gauge yesterday, unfortunately you can't go hunting with anything but a shotgun at E.E. Wilson, so I didn't get to use a .22, had it for dinner tonight and even though half of it was missing, it was delicious.

@shield400 A real hunter would appreciate this. A shooter takes the shot at 100 yards with a sniper rifle. A hunter takes the shot at 5 yards with a slingshot. So if Telin09 isn't a hunter then he should say so. Also, I'd like to see a rabbit get shot with anything and not move afterwards. I leveled off on a rabbit with a 20 gauge and the it jumped 3 feet in the air and ran 10 yards away. Nerves can do lots Telin09. I'm with Shield400 all day on this. Thanks for the "ass" comment Telin
