  • Looks like both the pilot's and copilot's yokes have been "manipulated" quite a few times (as in needs painting). Just an observation.

  • nice song at the beginning :)

  • Only two things really ever get you up the ranks and into the airlines. Who you know and hours.

  • GO STEVEO!!!!!!!

  • very cool video. i am only 17, but am looking at airlines to fly for already. I hope to fly for delta/northwest right out of college. just curious on where you went for schooling? i am looking at UND for their awesome aviation program...thats where my dad went also, and he flys for NW. again, thanks for your video, i would love to see more!

  • Uhm... you are welcomed to hope but you won't be hired by delta or northwest right out of college, I can guarantee you that. You might have a chance with a regional airline but I suggest you to be a fight instructor in order to get hours. Also, look for other schools rather than just the big famous ones. You will be impressed by how many aviation universities there are and there are many good ones that rival UND or better, only they don't really advertise as much and don't have as big a fleet.

  • I agree instuct for a while the chance of being hired by a major airline right out of college is very slim. They are going to be wanting turbine multi-engine time, and really the only way your going to get that is if you go to regional airlines. Also you have to keep in mind if there wanting for example 1,500 total time minimum, 1,000 multi-engine minimum, and 500 pic time thats just the least. Truthfully if they see numbers a little above the minimums, they won't even look at you.

  • e should get his degree online and go to the gulfstream training acadamy in ft lauderdale fl

  • kid at my school didnt even go to college. at age 19 he was hired by cummuter airlines, has already over 1000 hours of jet time.

  • @marick626 Actually that is not true. It's all about networking my friend and knowing the right people!

  • @cumhumphr What have you been smoking? American MAJORS would never accept a 250 hour for training as a FO.

  • @gt5004life I didn't say they would, but knowing the right people in the right places, and being a sharp pilot will definitely put you ahead. Simply put.

  • @cumhumphr Being a sharp pilot will always put you ahead! And, I agree, when starting out in this business, connections can and most likely will be very usefull. Although, when you are done flying Navajos and it's time to apply to the RJs, someone to walk your resume in is the only help you can get! At least in the US!
