Missing you more every day. I can never forget you or what you mean to me, OP. You have been a blessing and perhaps the biggest influence on my life. I remember in dare when I cried during the drug video and you held me the whole time and helped me through it. Thanks for being my hero.
wow this video reminds me alot about him they had came to our art class and had said that there was good news going around saying that op was getting better but they said they had bad news the rumors wasnt true at 2:30 .p.m. op had died of a long battle against lung cancer i think me and mi friends where the only one who cried whene we found out
he was a true hero, we all miss him, but we all know he is in a better place where nothing can harm him. god always does things for a reason, and on december 2, god needed a perfect angel in heaven. he is gone, but he will never be forgotten.
Man it was so bad when they announced it over the intercom at school. Kids were crying everywhere you looked and it was just awful. I miss him so much, but he's not gone totally. I look forward to seeing him again someday. Walk with angels, OP.
I can't tell you how much it meant to me to hear Terry's voice again. This tribute says everything about who he was and what he meant to others. Terry and I went to high school together and then one day I had to do a CT on Terry. That day he started changing my life by telling me that whatever the outcome, he was ok with it because "God has me, he has my back". From that day forward he was postive, brave and accepting of whatever God had in store for him. He is a true hero, a man of God.
met terry when he was a winona lake police officer. he really made police work appear to be fun. He was and could be tough if he had too. I received an email from him this past may. I am glad I saved it. What a legacy he left for all of us.
This tribute video is absolutely amazing! I had O.P. in 2000 and live in Pennsylvania now. I remember while I was in the DARE program my brother was in and out of jail. O.P. saw how upset I always was because I couldn't visit my brother. He would go out of his way to check on him, help him out, and let me know everything that was going on. He was an incredible man who will never be forgotten. I will forever treasure the memories I have of him.
We would run into Terry at McD's when we took our grandchildren to breakfast. When he found out our granddaughter was having problems with her teacher, he went out of his way to check on her. We will all miss him at breakfast, it won't be the same without seeing his smile, and hearing his laugh. What a true HERO. Heaven is Rejoicing!
Thank u EVER so much for letting us view this. OP was my DARE office in '91 and I now live in TN I was saddened to hear the tragic news. One thing I will always remember is that whenever I came home to visit and saw him he would just smile the BIGGEST smile and "bear" hug me and say I missed you Shelly. I love you OP!
This is absolutely beautiful, and I am so glad we all get to see what an incredible servant Terry was. We will miss him...his smile, his bear hugs, and his laugh.
.o.p was my dare officer he was like a father to me whene i found out that he had passed i started to cry nobody could replace i can just say that i remeber the last word he said to me was that he loved each and everyone of us and always so no to people even if it is your friend just walk away i will always remeber o.p
That was the most beautiful tribute video I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing it with our community. Hearing him speak again just made it so much more clear to me where he is now. We will miss him so much, but he will never really be gone... his memory will always live on in this town through all of the people whose lives he has touched. Rest in peace.. OP, faithful servant! We love you!
