Amazing how well clarified the woman from Wisconsin made things regarding oil and WHERE IT COMES FROM(?).Strategic Petrolium Reserve ring a bell? I guess the guy from Tennessee,like most who responded here, have just totally forgot Sept. 11th and what it did to our economy! The rebuilding of Wall Street and our communications systems didn't get rebuilt for free.Especially when the UNIONS and their extortionist wages were involved in the repair and rebuild!! Thanks for posting this! It was very satisfying to watch after viewing several clips of Mr. Hensarling in action. This smarmy snake oil salesman moved just down the street from me late last year. (Ironically, I reside in one of the most liberal suburbs in Dallas.) It should come as no surprise that his home is a grotesque mcmansion with a huge garage that houses his two gas-guzzling SUV's. It's time to end this polarizing hypocrisy in America. Republican? Democrat? Ind? I'll settle for human!

cute guy! bad policy! congressman hensarling is one of the most conservative members of the texas delegation. he was one of only 6 out of the 32 member texas delegation to vote aginst extending the voting rights act of 2006. he cares even less about civil liberties. he voted for every amendment to the patriot act which any half wit on the supreme court should declare unconstitutional!

I can explain gas prices. When Cheney went backdoor w/ his energy plan, this was set in motion.

1. They attacked Iraq for oil, war went badly & now they can't get it.

2. Now speculators R driving up the price they are going to squeeze U.S. until they let oil companies drill

3. Oil was 1.32/gal when Bush took office & now over $4 but demand hasn't gone up that much.

4. Bush is selling us out & they will keep the pressure up to drill so big oil can get they're hands on it here in the U.S.

Interesting to note that at least a couple of the calls came on CSPAN's "Republican line," so you can't say it's just lefties criticizing.
