Edge gave it a 10/10 (makes Skyward Sword the 14th game to get a 10/10 from Edge and Edge is mostly part of the hardcore area of games)

I remain neutral until I try it, though I'm excited and hope the gameplay is as good as it looks in all the trailers and such. The hatred for the graphics reminds me of another Zelda game with the title "Wind Waker" which I ended up borrowing from my mom and never giving back. That game is why I now remain as neutral as possible. People thought it was a dumb-down and were bashing it before it came out. Now, I still play it every once in a while just as I do the rest of the Zelda games.

People always bash the graphics of new zelda games. You guys need to get over your perception of "Graphics = Games", thinking that anything with call-of-duty graphics is the best. Besides, once you get fully realistic graphics, where else do you go? After you hit a ceiling, you can make a game look interesting and artistic, and unique, which is one thing most modern games fail to do. Wind Waker was my favorite game, and it wasn't entirely the art style. Just don't judge on graphics, kids.

(the highest they've ever given out along with OoT) and the second review to come in so far is from the magazine Edge. They gave it a 10/10 and they're supposedly known for giving out harsh reviews.

This is so bad.. I was a huge fan of the Zelda games. I've played every single Zelda game up to Twilight Princess.. But anyone who has played OOT on the N64 can agree that the quality of Zelda games goes down.. And this Zelda is yet another failure.. The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess.. They where ok, but Zelda has lost its feeling since the GC.. Thats really sad because Zelda used to be a great game..
