I lost my Robbie 2 years ago. He had 2 tumors in his brain. He loved his momma, but Robbie was daddies boy. I miss him so much. I now have Roddy and he's just as much an angel as Robbie was. Roddy is also daddies boy. I don't know how I'll ever be able to cope if anything happens to Roddy. There's times when I think I'll never have another dog, because it's so hard when they pass. Then I think of how empty our lives would be without them.

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear Venus has passed away. What a shame - I can tell she was your "heart" dog. She was gorgeous and such a good girl. Best wishes with your new Sheltie - may he grow to be just as close to you as Venus was.

Thanks for your sweet comment! She passed away from a heart attack a year ago April. She was the love of my life... I adopted a 1 year old boy Sheltie about 4 months later. He is smart - but not as smart as Venus! There is nothing like a Sheltie. I just love them!

So sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I was devastated by the passing away of my Buttons. I'll try to create a video of her doing her tricks. She was pretty good. I got a senior rescue Sheltie a couple weeks later to be a companion for us and my other Sheltie Bows. His name is Beamer. He's not the brightest Sheltie I've met. Took me three months to get him to 'give paw'.
