You have been slightly misled. "Odo" is the word for River."Olodo" is a adjective meaning belonging to the River, but meanless by itself. More significantly "Olodo" also mean clueless which is rather cruelly, is what this video is. Yoruba is a tone based Language, a bit like Chinese...any slight change of tone significantly change the menning.....
Thanks! It doesn't hurt my feelings...in fact, I am absolutely clueless with regard to any African language-hell, I'm absolutely clueless with regard to what passes for English nowdays. I thoght I was doing well just hearing as much of the little introductory dialogue presented by the vocalists in this highly entertaining and unusual group, which I enjoyed immensely in spite of my losing struggle with a contentious movie camera, in my very first attempt at using it.
