  • Christmas is also comign and I plan to get a treadmill for it.   • inches come off but I dont want inches I want POUNDS I ended up over eating at a friends house a few days ago thus breaking my only water and eating at respectable times diet( where I eat what I want just a tiny bit less and every 2-3 hours) I plan to ask my mom to take me to a dietician and ask her to give me a diet I went to one as like what a 10 year-old? and she said I dont need one and blah blah and told me basically crap I already hear from my mom LMAO I already knew what she was saying.

  • Thank you for posting this. I've actually been procrastinating on my workout regime all summer--I need some workout wear and "tools" in addition to the procrastination. Honestly I have NO excuse. I'm about your size (size 5, give or take) and all I need to do is TONE up. To see that you lost 90 pounds (CONGRATULATIONS!) is just proof that I can tone up (I'm not trying to lose anything), if I willed myself to do it. Thanks for giving me that clarity. I'm just LAZY! *lol* Take care lady.

  • i'm glad you mentioned your core. in pilates they say "scoop the belly upward" which is better understood. but remembering your core just in general when walking, going up and down stairs, etc, helps get a work out in when you're not working out!

  • two of my favorite complexes are squat presses and deadlift highpulls (which is a dynamic lift. there is nothing wrong with dong fast movements as long as you practice good form). i also like doing HIIT circuits and bodyweight exercises.

    have you read The New Rules of Lifting for Women? compound movements are about working your body as a SYSTEM rather than doing isolation exercises.

    anyway, go on with your bad self BBBD!

  • i have it, they're no joke!!!! but I dont want to get too muscular so I just do their cardio and lift weights at the gym, my fav is plyo.

  • unless you are taking some sort of steroids or testosterone supplement, it is IMPOSSIBLE for women to get "too muscular". this is a lie.

Im not a ab girl at all im forcused more on cardio and strength traning and I do try to suck in my rolls as much as I can to like you said. It hard to do when on the elliptical but as times goes by I will get better it.

  • Hey....thank you so much for sharing your workout routine!!...LOVE the bicep curl movements...i will try that!!...biggest loser 1 or 2season has a dvd with a boot camp work out on the upper body tht I think you will like!! ..i love it! it really tones the upperbody!...I have bad knees..can you show or tell us what you did re: lower body work outs..when you were at your heaviest and started your weight journey!!.....You are truly a testament that you CAN lose weight without surgery!!!...

  • how do you tone up your lower back and butt area

  • I'm starting to see some definition in my butt area, legs and torso.

    For BUTT: squats, lunges and running.

    For Lower Back: Deadlifts are great.

    Intense cardio is going to be your best friend while trying to lose fat and tone up.

    That's what I do. So far, I'm down 40 lbs.
