@Happa90 Every branch has there own form of aviation. The Navy/Marines and Airforce have both fixed wing and rotary aircraft (Jet fighters, cargo planes, helicopters, etc.) The army mainly flied helicopters. The marines fly the cobra, and the army flies the apache.

The Apache used in combat in places such as Afghanistan is, from a technical perspective, so heavily modified from the original design as the Americans made it as to be unrecognizable. We held aboard ship two SH-60B LAMPS MKIII anti-submarine warfare helicopters. I would suggest you do your research before talking out of your rear end.
