1. The technology will get superseded within months. 2. The price of gold does tend to increase over time. However, there's so little actual gold on this phone (it's only 18ct plating) that the extraction of it would probably cost more than it's worth. 3. Sapphires are about as common as gravel. 4. Nobody cares about old leather; it's worthless. Maybe (that's a big maybe) in 20 years the Oro could be considered an antique or a collector's item, and therefore fetch a high price.

Nokia has it right. The phone is a personal thing and should be considered an accessory that matches your style. Soon phones will all do the same standard 'smart' things. Beyond that you have 1,000 useless apps none of which make the person beside you look over and say "Niiiiice phone!"

Can Nokia get a decent OS? With Windows in picture the answer is NO!

A Nokia lover (last 5 phones were Nokia!) like me is gonna go away as MS can only add bugs, make it more prone to virus/security threats and make the phone costly for no good reason.

PL. move to Android if you have to or just beef up Symbian!

@Electronistadotcom In case u read the whole comment, I compared WP to Android and then Symbian (and logically there is a reason behind the order). WP7 may be "modern and stable" but certainly does not match newer Android devices on Stability, Apps and being intuitive for user. Add to that the cost part and Android becomes better. Coming to Symbian, though I am not sure about the cost of making it stable/better but surely things changed the MS way only after Nokia hired an ex-MS guy as CEO! :)

Customer don't want Symbian product any more coz they want to jump toward new technology and new look up. i think nokia again make mistake to release symbian product again. a lot of customer waiting for Nokia New Windows phone 7. It is unique and very advance software which need perfect design and durable Hardware which can make only by Nokia.
