It's a marketing gambit. Seems like Google's trying to create their own campaign in the vein of Mastercard's famous "For everything else there's Mastercard" spending stories, with the addition of an interactive "new media" feature that takes the art out of editing. Unfortunately, they seem to be unaware of the boring nature of the commercial it creates. Watching someone else do a computer search is not entertaining
