Civilization Revolution - 1000AD Victory Achievement

This achievement was really frustrating, I eventually got it when all civilizations were finally on the same giant land area. I could only dream to do this at 1900 bc. I did it at 700ad or 700 bc after about 15 tries and constant saves and reloads to minimise wasted turns.

if only this game had blood during the battle sequences, more great generals, more details in the units, more units, a larger map, and more civilizations to play against instead of 5 civilizations(including yourself) during each game. also, more civilizations. THEN this game would be a million times better.but the game is great now too.

@Nitlarini39 I agree you completely because i would sit through the whole game....BUT  The games would be longer (3-4 hours)...Because with more units theres more tech...With a bigger map and more civs theres more exploration and patience required...Winning would be harder and people would get frustrated...But i would like it

This is king. He is using the best strategy I've found, still haven't been able to get it, getting closer though only tried 3 times. Aztecs Healing after combat gives u a chance, research horse riding asap and send out cavalry armies

I remember when I got this achievement. I did it by spamming the crap out of Impis and getting really lucky. When I finally took the final capital, I just jumped up and shouted "ZUUUUULUUUUUUU!".

Are you on a scenario here? This is my last achievement, it has me stumped. my usual approach is with the Spanish because they start out with navigation and its really easy to get around and find all the wonders quickly, but i never make it in time.

if he was playing on chieftain or warlord he would of had a combat advantage, and not the regular attack strength.

This is king difficulty. If it wasnt, his basic soldiers would have higher attacks.. Anywho! I got this achievement by choosing the Aztecs, rushing my warrior, switching to straight science, research horsemen and switched my 4 science to start building horsemen. I saved often. My first horsemen units would take out barb villages and I was able to take out 3 of the 4. The last one was on an island. (Luckily I saved because I would have never found him in time) Year 850 AD I won. (It was close).

@EPIKK1000 Deity can be beaten by 1000 AD with every civ very easily. I can win in the B.C.s with some civs easily. The A.I. is retarded in this game. A lot of fun, though.

Germans are best with Military yet Russians are great with it 2 but they have a map start (they see whats around them which is very useful) so I'm usually them 2 or egypt bc they have a wonder =P

@4matttw Hey asshole...On chieftan and warlord you get a combat bonus of 100% for chieftan and 50% for warlord...You would see it clearly say that he was on a low difficulty when he was in battle...But he wasn't on a low setting....He was at least on king you dick

if any civ in this game can pull off a win before 1000 AD its definitely the aztecs who bring the insane beatings with the heal automatically thing. Personally I think they are hands down the easiest civ to win a game with, next I would say english (naval support doubled can result in attack strength around 200.) after them the japanese because of the free harbor effect in ancient times speeding things along. Well played, I seen some really crappy games of civ rev on youtube today.

Civ 4 is a lot more grown up than revolution is. I suggest you try it. You can make open boarder agreements, defensive pacts, vassal states, and there is more units and buildings as well. Overall it's a lot deeper and I think it's more fun.

in a multiplayer game i was germans and there were people north and south of me everyone was at peace but since i was in the middle i attacked everyone with modern era tech and i just kept taking cities slowly until they all got together against me and surounded me with tanks and bombers but i lost only a couple cities
