country joe mcdonald made his fortune off of the lives and work of other people including previous recording artists as well as off those killed or wounded in action in vietnam. wonder how much he donated to veterans that needed rehabilitation when they came back?

@fatcat669 For your personal information Country Joe McDonald is a U.S. Navy vet .He spent his service years as a medic healing the wounded in action. He has also set up a foundation to fund a museum dedicated to battlefield medics. Also, most of his music is original. When he plays other peoples music he does it as a tribute and always gives credit to the original artist. I wonder if you had to go to a special school to learn how to be such an ignorant douchebag. @dtacam Country Joe is really good people, but he didn't serve in Vietnam, however, he did serve in the Navy previous to Vietnam. The question in regards to why Mexicans and people from African or South America are not as productive to as Americans is very important. However, you seem to be misguided. Actually, more has come out of those areas than simply poverty, disease or corruption. If you want to know, do some scholarly historical research and you will find out that hundreds of years of colonialism whether in Africa or in the Americas do not simply disappear.
For example, Europeans divided a great part of Africa and while presently, European nations no longer have direct control over these former areas. The impact of colonization continues today. States in Africa were not built along religious, language and ethnic lines like the European nation states (Spain-Catholic or Britain-Protestant). No, Africa was carved along arbitrary lines made up by European nations.
Why is this important? Well, when you have a state filled with different ethnic groups and language barriers followed by poverty because of colonialism (a colony is to serve its colonial power-in other words- the colonial power intentions with its colony is not to improve its social conditions rather it is to exploit them to its full potential) then the likelihood for having a prosperous state like the US, Japan, or other Western European nations is unlikely.

And the reason there isnt stronger immigration enforcement is that the farm conglomerates need them to work the fields for peanuts and they payroll a lot of Congressmen for it.
