What's up with the terrible quality? I've yet to see acceptable footage taken with this camera.

Is this relevant with all pocket sized digital cameras, or something to do with the PC playback of the file?

I'm still recording onto cassette, which is apparently far superior to the (cheap) digital format. Is this a fact?

it's probably cuz ur pc graphics card or cpu can't handle hd, in my case both are crap so 720p is a bit skippy, and 1080p is very skippy
