The Labor Department's statistics don't include the underemployed and those who have stopped looking for work because they can't find jobs. This alternative measure creates a much higher number. @43findnemo unemployment rate isn't 9% like they say. That 9% is only what the unemployment agencies are reporting. The 9% is not the actual rate. The Labor Department's statistics don't include the underemployed and those who have stopped looking for work because they can't find jobs. This alternative measure creates a much higher number. This is a FACT. The rate is MUCH closer to 20%. Go research it for yourself.
