you know i just played this game today and it never gets old. i just went to other vids of this game and was appalled at the apparent mainstream bad critique of this game as it's one of the greatest.
even with today's new games. i mean i couldn't handle the cars 10 years ago, but to me this game a cruiser.
damn dude. this is funny because i just played test drive 4 with the cuda for psx and wished it was the computer version with the black hood! It's quite interesting that this only has 79 views yet is something i personally would very much like to see. i didn't realize a playable version was available where you could have different car appearances.
Lol well it only has 79 views as I only uploaded it the other day. :) Im sure it'll increase. :) And yeah on the 'Underground Jampack Vol. 2' demo, this version of the Cuda is on it, but only playable via cheats. The only playable cars are the Viper and the Cobra. There's a few more cars but they're the same as on the full version of the game as far as I can tell. Im glad you liked the vid btw. :)
Wait, so you're saying that demo I played again and again and lost in the void over a decade ago had cheats? Dang, it's interesting that the demo for this game somehow had more of an appeal than the actual game itself. Might just be the nostalgia ha
Lol well you'd need a cheat disc and the correct cheat code too. Im playing this on an emulator so you could always play it again if you ever fancied it. :)
i made the connection just now with the intro scene that when the car dodges the semi and then two tires run through the water that this is a tough game. people seem to not like this game for the handling but i've gotten used to it and love the feel now. its so sick when you pull around a tight corner downshifting with just the right amount of speed, and then having to dodge traffic and get back on the road.
Just two things really. The title of the beta version is '70 Cuda' whereas the title of the final version is just 'Cuda'. Also the hood of the beta version is all black, whereas the final version's hood is both red and black.
I hate physics, but I love cars and landscapes in this game

Also, in the final, doesn't the Cuda only have 3 gears?

@MattJ155
thanks for the info.
it's pretty cool that there's a place for us nostalgic people to share the most insignificant information on the planet!

@mortemdrummer
Very true! I love finding beta stuff, and things only ccessible by cheats. :)
