This game sucked some serious balls, couldn't even play it to the end, it was so horrible. Unlike other Castlevanias, this has nothing new to it and by the story and everything else, is just weak compared to the earlier parts of the "series".

@GeneralErlend hi, i didn't mean to ofend the fans of the series... It's because SotN was the first Castlevania i played, and then i went back to the origins of the series to play. None of then, of course in my opinion, gave me the same satisfying gameplay (i mean the whole play experience) as SotN. The same thing happened with the ones after SotN... Including this one... So i always get disapointed because I always compare... but, hey, it's just a opinion. :)
Awesome, This is gonna be like a better version of god of war. I like the character design and sure the gameplay will be interesting. I am sure many people have wondered this as well, but when are they gonna make a game with Alucard in it. He's too awesome of a character to just leave on the sidelines

@RunnerAlien222 Well to start, if you are a fan of the older, more linear Castlevania games, then you will fall in love with this game. It is very reminiscent of Super Castlevania IV. Although, there are moments of nonlinearity and RPG elements like Symphony of the Night, there is a very healthy mix of both. The story is phenomenal, but you must remember this is a reboot of the franchise, so this is a new timeline. Sadly, no Bloody Tears, but the OST is amazing. I highly recommend this game :)

well the voice you hear is satan the final boss of the game the first cutscene isn't realle in the game and the one when Gabriel jumps trough the windows is probably in game so it's not really in game since the Lord of the Vampires is the second one and The boss is after the third lord of shadow

Dante was fine, but not interesting enough compared to previous characters in Castlevania, Leon, Hector, Alucard, Soma, Richter (congratz to Richter for being awesome despite having brown hair) and others. I just hope Gabriel's lines won't be as predictable as Dante's.

Looks like a good game, and I love castlevania games. After playing uncharted 2, and seeing how perfect a video game can be, especially the full motion interactive levels, I don't think Castlevania could hold up to it. After playing uncharted 2, I realized I will never play another game unless its PS3 exclusive. X-box needs to be upgraded so great games like castlevania can shine on top, or just make it for ps3 exclusive and utilize the full power of the cell like uncharted 2 did...
@oosaf@oosaf Meh. It's an alrite game. There were some BIG flaws in it's physics and collision engines though. They overstreched themselves and the end product suffered. There are plenty of much better games out there for both platforms.

The bullet physics worked better. As did everything else. Also, it wasn't this gen's second best game. There are plenty of PC games that trample it. And a lot of great console games too. Demon's souls is by far the best the PS3 has had to offer as far as exclusives go. That game was outstanding. UC2 was a GoW PoP hybrid that got amped up by PS3 fanboys.
Oh my god, I can´t wait, I want to freeze myself like in the southpark episode. It looks like its very cool. I think the best Castlevania was on the N-64. Then a long time nothing could beat that. And there was 1 on PS 2, I think it was lammont of innocence or something. The PSP remake was not to bad too or what you mean??

The God of War fanboys saying that this game is a ripoff should stfu. Castlevania was pwnin' before God of War was even thought up. And if it has God of War style gameplay, then good. Seriously, this is going to be better than some of the other recent Castlevania games, so quit complaining.
As for me, I'm excited for this.

My expectations are high on this one, even higher than God of War3

Looks like a good game, and I love castlevania games. After playing uncharted 2, and seeing how perfect a video game can be, especially the full motion interactive levels, I don't think Castlevania could hold up to it. After playing uncharted 2, I realized I will never play another game unless its PS3 exclusive. X-box needs to be upgraded so great games like castlevania can shine on top, or just make it for ps3 exclusive and utilize the full power of the cell like uncharted 2 did...

@oosaf @oosaf Meh. It's an alrite game. There were some BIG flaws in it's physics and collision engines though. They overstreched themselves and the end product suffered. There are plenty of much better games out there for both platforms.

i didn't think the story was that outstanding.
i think the story to gears of war is much more entertaining and engaging.
and thats not really a story driven game.
if you want a story driven game try heavy rain.
thats fantastic.
and the old prince of persia titles managed the physics engines better than uc2. and their old.
in my opinion a game that outstrips uc2 in every way possible, red dead redemption. i know its a year younger.
but they started work on it 5 years ago.

Gears of war was better than UC2. IN MY OPINION!.
The bullet physics worked better. As did everything else. Also, it wasn't this gen's second best game. There are plenty of PC games that trample it. And a lot of great console games too. Demon's souls is by far the best the PS3 has had to offer as far as exclusives go. That game was outstanding. UC2 was a GoW PoP hybrid that got amped up by PS3 fanboys.

Oh my god, I can´t wait, I want to freeze myself like in the southpark episode. It looks like its very cool. I think the best Castlevania was on the N-64. Then a long time nothing could beat that. And there was 1 on PS 2, I think it was lammont of innocence or something. The PSP remake was not to bad too or what you mean??

ya the first thing on my mind was it has that GOW-ish feel but it only made it better and still keep what Castlevania is all about and that is killing demons (vampire, wolfs etc.), they made the whip more kick ass and begining back the man that is Castlevania the legendary hunter Belmont =D
