if you can get emulators on you computer then there's no need in buying the consoles, just the games. but i guess you would need to buy the consoles cuzz if you didn't, then they wouldnt make games for those consoles and they would only make pc games. and you can't emulate that

Hey I have problem. On battles. I dont know why but it will become black after few moments i can see my status. and their are strange line above. Is this normal? Emu problem? Or my iso is broken. :(

yo bro i made a pcsx 2 emulator 4 mac it uses the windows v. so basically it IS the windwos v. so i wanna know KH RE COM it only shows a black screen but the i can hear sound and also FF X-2 the game runs fine but the battles are slow every other game i have runs fine even MGS2/3

i reckon final fantasy X-2's battle is better than FF X since in FF X-2 it moves the character when you attack meaning they move to another spot and if you attack the enemy from behind it does a critical BUT FF X is good for turn based dudes like me and the sphere grid is awesome so in other words they have they're own qualities :)

there's a lot more potential on pc, antialiasing etc... plus, no memory cards, just your hdd, though you need a rather good pc

use an x-box control, the usb cord... or if you use a ps3 control you'll need to download some drivers and stuff.

it depends on your CPU since pcsx2 basically uses CPU, unless you use ZeroGS graphic plugin which makes good use or your graphic card...but i have been finding lots of bugs using ZeroGS. GSdX FTW!

yeah i think you can...i got a quad core 2.9 but since pcsx2 only uses 2 cores i guess its the same as having a 2 core with 2.9 each...and i run this game with 50 FPS always (PAL version) so you should have no problem =)

PS> if you have NTSC version you need to play with 60 fps for full emulation

Yeah, if you're PC can handle it you can use anti-liasing, anisotropic filtering and of course, higher resolutions...most games look MUCH better thought PS2 emulation is not perfect yet but it's getting there.

Great! How do you have that graphics? For a lot of people (and me too), the graphics are not bad, BUT there are missing some graphics (!!), whereas there are no problems with FFX.

So what is ur mistake.. What can we do.. Can you tell me what video plugin u're using here?

i finally got the game to work. its awsome cause i can use my 360 controller with it.

only problem is that the disk gets about 100 degrees after 5 mins and i have to save and quit so it can cool off

ops sorry i managed to delete your other comment... anyway you dont need a memory card its with the program and you can check out the pcsx2 . net forum for more info on how to set it up i think it kinda depends on your computer
